@@ritaa1359 it depends on what u want people may prefer a bolder look to a natural one, not everything has to do with ones insecurity, it's not a crime to like any of Kylie product, but not everybody must like what u like and vice versa, people are different just as u like Selena and her products it's the same way Leah likes Kylie and hers, you may not get it but like I said not everyone needs to like rare beauty just as the same way not everybody likes Kylie's, becuz we are all different.

every time she picked Kylie...I genuinely was like so confused. it started off with the eyeshadow...like girl you picked the mini version and rare beauty has so much more pigment! I was genuinely surprised that you chose Kylie just cause she had bigger pallet? I think anyone would rather pay for quality than anything .im sorry but it just went down hill from there. felt like she was picking Kylie even before she tried any product. the rare beauty side made it look glammed enough while also looking natural and smoother! I do get her points at times but it just wasn't a good enough reason to make an argument at whether which one is better.

yeah but she did the kylie cosmetics on the side of her face with a lot more like acne (no hate to her, acne is totally normal and natural) and makeup does looks a little bit less smooth on acne

Yup and I like Selena’s makeup more but I can be honest and say Kylie’s winter kiss blush and mascara is nice. I feel at the end of the day people are going to be biased towards the person they like more regardless. Like all rare beauty products worked so well for me and Kylie makeup that I’ve tried like lips, shadow and skin didn’t feel as comfortable on my skin unfortunately

I feel like your whole point system didn’t make any sense? Especially the categories you gave points for - improvement of the lip kit, more eyeshadows even though the formula was shitty etc. A lot of the times you didn’t even further explain why Kylie’s side got a point. Make up should be rated by formula, pigment and application. And also why not just compare products that both brands have. And lastly the rare beauty side looked so much smoother and airbrushed whereas the Kylie side showed your texture and looked patchy. Either your were biased or your beauty opinion as a makeup influencer is really not that valuable.. not meaning to attack you but this video told me not to watch other reviews of yours :/
This!!! Either she is completely biased or I personally can’t trust her opinion on makeup… especially after not choosing Selena’s eyeshadow bc of the color range… I agree that makeup should be rated by actual pigment, formula, and application. I can obviously see the colors that each has pallet has but as a viewer I want to see the formula and how it applies and that’s what matters the most because she should be testing it out based on those three things and eating it on which one is better in that sense not just the colors and which one looks pretty 😂

@@rennieaj7870 no, it’s not even about the point system in general or who won. It’s about how she in general “grades” makeup. Yes I understand the comparison between the brands but after watching this video it makes me question her opinion on other makeup products. Because as a viewer (at least in this video )she didn’t not rate and judge makeup based on how the products actually looks, the pigment, the formula, the application, etc
kylie should have better products for the amount of time she's been in the makeup game, therefore you giving her points for stepping it up seems biased because this is selena's first round and she mastered it

Omg, the Rare Beauty is the definition of Rare. I’m not sure if it was a fare with the pallets as Selena got normal sizes. Loved the video and going for all Rare Beauty except Kylies one to eyebrows
In my opinion Rare Beauty’s side looked more settle and suited Leahs face more. I liked how well the blush and bronzer went together on the Rare Beauty side. 🤗

Personally I like kylie cosmetics more because I'm a no makeup makeup girl and I like stuff which is medium pigmented which is what kylie provides however for pigments rare beauty wins ofc

How are you going to pick Kylie’s highlighter for not being as pigmented as the Selena’s one 😅 in my opinion I prefer a more pigmented highlighter, I feel like selenas makeup brand is better quality than Kylie’s and you’re paying more for Kylie’s when you can literally get the same quality as colourpop cosmetics since their products are manufactured in the same fabric, or should I say Kylie’s brand is manufactured in colourpops lab. Like no thank you, Kylie’s brand is overrated.
Plus Kylie has had her makeup line for years now, and you’re telling me she still hasn’t come out with a foundation? She has a translucent powder and she used to have a concealer but not a foundation? And Selena has only been in the beauty industry for like 3 years and she has a full makeup line with better quality products and her prices are honestly more reasonable than Kylie’s.

in my opinion the rare beauty side looks better, I love Selena's products, and i'm pretty sure rare beauty has a cream bronzing stick and a cream blush.
I knew that the points would be equal at the end LOL but honestly after seeing both sides done.. rare beauty side looks so much more flattering! Kylie side seems too harsh specially on the blush. Was surprised you didn't pick the rare beauty highlighter though. Rare beauty side just looked smoother, specifically on the highlighter, Kylie products made your texture show more.

Rare beauty is a product that selena wants to stand on its own and not be reliant on her name. She wants to sell quality than her brand, that's why she's not putting obvious branding like her name, her eyes on the palette's packaging.

I really enjoy your content but it seems like you were biased... You didn't get the proper products to compare, like you are comparing a miniversion of a pallette to a full pallette, the weightless foundation is oil based so you are actually supposed to shake (which is indicated in the packaging) before using, otherwise it cannot work properly. It does not feel like an honest review, really

i think the only thing i can agree with this girl on is the eyebrow product but also that depends on what look you are going for and stuff like that if you want a just filled in brow i think thats why selena designed the way she did its supposed to be fast and natural but also when you buy a product make sure you know what the purpose of the product is first before using and accidentally using it wrong. now i do think selena should come out with a smaller skinnier brow pencil for those that want it but hey until then its all about skill and knowing your stuff i use brow pencils all the time and NEVER sharpen till i run out and have to so yes the tip of my pencil isnt sharp and fine but i have my routine down packed and my skills are good enough to where i can take my cheap dull pencil and make it look like a chic and glam look its all about knowledge and practice and skill

Kylie has a new cream blush formula that's really nice(her glow balms). She doesn't sell the one you used anymore .. that was an old vday collection.
I've bought a bit of Kylie cosmetics and Kylie skin lately to try and it's quite nice and not a bad price point.
I only own a lip product from rare beauty bc most items in her line for my skin tone are sold out. so I still have to try it.

For me i feel from the eye shadow to the lip the rare beauty did the work better giving you a more defined look. While Kylie cosmetics did more of the eye brows and lips giving you a simple and casual look. But in all they both look pretty.❤
