Brilliant, that's going to be quite a journey to get it up and running. I wonder what horrors you will find as you start to strip it down.
Looks to be in good condition to start from, rolled out of the shed with no bother, it would have been a nightmare to have to have dragged it.
I'm most looking forward to seeing you struggle with balancing all those carbs.

Many thanks for your comment Andy, Hopefully the "horrors" I'll find while stripping it down will be minimal.
But guess you never know until you start looking :(
Is balancing 6 carbs significantly harder than balancing 4 cards ?
Perhaps its a mathematical equation ?
More episodes to follow Andy I hope you've subscribed :)

I've just been for a shower, during which my main thoughts were on the precarious tail lift problem.
How about if you brought with you a piece for board, say 3 feet wide and a good bit longer than the wheelbase. Put it on the tail lift hanging off the back a bit,
    Then wheel it straight on.
The bit hanging off the back should be easily balanced by all the weight at the front. But if worried about that you could rachet strap the board to the tail lift.
    Thoughts.?

Hopefully you enjoyed your shower Andy :)
I was always apprehensive about the tali lift, I'd not really considered the size, my worry was the weight.
When I lifted the bike from the ground I ensured neither Set or I were on the tail lift and adding extra weight.
A large sheet of 18mm plywood would have been an idea but it didn't cross my mind about the tail lift size :(
