Some things to note about this: 1. They took a Russian tank. They wanted one that works, and is easy to repair. While so many people laugh at Russian tanks, they're far more durable, rugged, reliable than western tanks.
Keep in mind that the Azov battalions left a lot of weapons and equipment when they were routed from Avdiivka. They left tanks, Bradleys, guns, ammo, drones, etc. Russia builds over 100 tanks per month, plus repairs tanks at shops along the front. Those that are too damaged go back to the factory and get rebuilt. One tank isn't a big deal.

Brian Berletic posted a video on his New Atlas channel recently, with western sources linked to the video, that shows how Russia is outproducing the entire west by multiples. The tank stats are there, as well.
Multiple videos from many sources showed the vast amount of weapons and equipment left in Avdiivka.
