I loved the video. My dad loved (Ramps) My mom would prepare ramps and eggs for him. He would tell people that is why he never got sick. Have a Blessed Week!
Its looks delicious! The puff pastry pie I can't wait to try. Joerg and Kirsten are the best on UA-cam! I must say, prayers for United Kingdom and the royal family.
Just love your cooking videos. Kirsten, you honestly have the most soothing voice, which, would make you my new ASMR Queen. Lots of love to you both xxxx
Joerg likes the pesto dish. Looks good. I love any kind of puff pastry recipe, especially spinach and cheese ingredients. I’m sure I would enjoy that recipe too. Pesto is good on a lot of things. I think the gathering is the most fun too, Kirsten. Mushrooms? There are phone apps that help identify edible varieties now. That would be a fun gathering trip too. See how well those app work. 😊👋🏼🇺🇸💕
Hello Joerg and Kirsten. Thank you for your recent UA-cam videos. Such a blessing that you can take in the beauty of England as it becomes obvious that the weather is being kind to you. I agree with your followers that we love it when you are able to sit in an elegant restaurant and enjoy a good English tea and something sweet to compliment it with. Hope your weekend has been special. We too are enjoying lovely weather in Cape Town. Blessings and stay safe 💞
Hi Kirsten & Joerg! Very nice video - You do a great job editing these with scenic views and music. I really enjoy how you change up the themes of your content. Sometimes it's scenic gardens, sometimes antiques, sometimes recipes. Keep up the great work!
We have this growing on our property in Canada and we call them ramps. They sell for a lot of money in markets. They are delish! We use them in loads of recipes. It was nice to see you use them.
Must be careful you are getting the right plant when foraging...u get the wrong one and it could make u ill. But I love the visit to the woods there..the wild flowers are lovely. So relaxing your videos...thanks Kirsten n joerg.
My deepest sympathy to All in The UK at their sad time of the Passing of Prince Phillip. You two have so honored the UK by moving there and respecting the National Sites and All things British. As the country and Commonwealth mourn , please know AMERICA mourns with you. Prince Phillip was a true gentleman, unique man and lived an extraordinary life of 99 years. PEACE ON YOUR HEARTS!💔🇬🇧🇺🇸
Jemima , my maternal grandfather was Scottish and immigrated to Canada in the middle 1920's. Somehow he ended up in Birmingham AL, USA, The family moved back to Toranto, Ontario where my mother was raised. My family has always had high regard for the Royal Family as we would our First Families here in America. My grandmother taught us the wonderful tradition of "Afternoon Tea" as children. We thought it a grand "party time" when she would visit "South"! I am honoring both her( now passed many years) and the passing of Prince Phillip, by practicing this tradition all this next eight days. A small tribute but one heart felt with all my life's memories as a ROYAL Watcher and "vicarious"Scottish citizen. Love and Peace to All of the United Kingdom . You are All held with sincere sympathy and PRAYERS.🇬🇧🇺🇸💗
Thank you so much Donna lovely to hear about your family and I hope you enjoy your afternoon tea days. I am a very spiritual person not aligned to any particular religion, but have a strong love for God, we are all connected. Lots of love from Scotland. xx
Oh my gosh, this brought back so many child hood memories of walking through the woods in England with my parents as a kid. I loved the smell of wild garlic blooming in the spring and your Riggs to pretty and magical on the floor of the woods. I just ordered some seeds, we’ll see if it grows in Southern California. Wish me luck. Hopefully in a month I’ll be enjoying the pesto, looks great!!!!
Being Native American and German..here in Pennsylvania we pick many different kinds of mushrooms and wild garlic, wild onions, wild garlic chives , wild onion chives, wild berries, nuts and roots..I only eat what my father picks..only trust him. Lol!😊..wild rice also!..the pesto looked delicious!💚
Hello Kirsten and Joerg thankyou for this video .I had some wild garlic delivered in my Riverford Organics box yesterday and the pesto looks like a good idea for me to use it up . Joerg reminds me of my husband whose Mother was a cook' in service ' many years ago ,so he has always been used to good food ,and Joerg seems to enjoy his food just like my husband does . It's a pleasure to cook for him . Have a lovely weekend x
I absolutely love the smell of wild garlic. It's at its best in the woods just now where I take my dog. Both the garlic and the pretty wood anemones. Lovely episode, Kirsten.
Hi Kirsten & Joerg! The pie looks so yummy! I have never seen wild garlic before. The pasta recipe looks delicious. I love your cooking shows! Hugs xoxo
It looks so beautiful there . I miss being able to visit my family in Oxford so I appreciate all you show . I love garlic so I'm sure I would enjoy those recipes . On a sad note I was sorry to hear of Prince Phillip passing away today . 💕💕
Hello lovely couple ! I have a ton of wild garlic in my garden in Alsace! So delicious ! I also mix them with spinach and we eat them raw as a salade with salt, pepper and olive oil , you can add chestnuts ! Your recipe looks delicious ! Please take care and stay safe ! Bisous 🤗😘
I love making pesto with macadamia nuts instead of pine nuts. It's so yummy! I'm very impressed that you decided to forage for ingredients in the wild... I'm too scared I'd eat something poisonous. The basket with the leaves was SO beautiful!! You are so stylish, Kirsten!
Hi! This is Gwenda... I loved this video ! ( I love all your videos) I truly enjoyed going to forage for wild garlic and seeing the gorgeous landscape of my beloved England !! I'm believing to go there some day! .. love, love, love the recipes !!! You two are so charming! God bless you both!!
I collect bärlauch every year and make loads of bärlauch butter which I freeze cause we love it on steaks and baguette. Here in our area in Hesse we have woods filled with it. Hope that we can grow it in North Carolina where we are moving too
Many years ago we lived near a little forest with loads of wild garlic and each springtime we collected it. I hope I will find wild garlic again, I liked it very much.
I am catching up on your videos at last! I love the way you presented the ingredients for your recipes! Very much in the style of our friend Mrs C at Audley End! 🙏😊💖
There is loads of wild garlic in stroud Gloucestershire(just down the road from where I live) and you can really smell it when the weather is warm. I will definitely try it
I like garlic very much, so I think I would have loved your recipes with the wild garlic. You are a loving couple and so pleasant to listen to. 😍 The original Pesto with basil is from my hometown, Genova in Italy. We also have a garlic free version for Kirsten! 😝😅😉😘
This is a coincidence! I’m having a wild garlic, pea and onion risotto tomorrow for dinner. My garden has lots of wild garlic it pops up every where, and as you said looks so fairy like in the Spring when the flowers come out. Great recipes I’ll have to try the pesto.
Your basket is just perfect for foraging for Wild Garlic. I have never thought about looking for Wild Garlic 🧄 your recipe for puff pastry with wild garlic, spinach, cheese, eggs and spices sounds scrumptious! Joerg is so funny! The wild garlic pesto sounds yummy too! Kristen you are so honest. It’s not everyone who loves garlic, so don’t feel bad. See you soon! Stay Safe and enjoy your magazine!
I'm eating pizza made with garlic mustard pesto that I harvested nearby while watching! How perfect. Garlic mustard is an invasive green where I am in Michigan, but it makes a delicious pesto, so I can harvest as much as I care. It's always a delight to "share" a meal with you both.
Ransoms as we call it - delicious! If you ever go to Bath at this time of year, do the skyline walk, you’ll find loads, and it’s a beautiful walk as well x
Where I live in the North East of England, rhubarb grows wild all over the field and woods where I take my dog for a walk. Rhubarb's good to pick because it's easy to identify as nothing else looks quite like it, so you're pretty safe with it. The only bad thing about it is that the large rhubarb leaves are poisonous to dogs, so you have to keep a close eye on the dog whilst picking. It's worth it though, as a raw stick of rhubarb dipped in sugar is perhaps the tastiest raw growing treat you can pick.
Joergen is so calm and gives such a sense is security- oh for a husband like him
I loved the video. My dad loved (Ramps) My mom would prepare ramps and eggs for him. He would tell people that is why he never got sick. Have a Blessed Week!
Love that you are so real! The recipes sound and look so good to me, as I love garlic. Thank you. 😋
Such unintentional ASMR !!
My husband Ian grew up in Gilroy California... garlic capitol of the world! I'll have to show him this video ;-)
It’s lovely to see you both out foraging.
The pesto and pie looks wonderful.
Kirsten, that dress always looks amazing on you. x
Joerg likes the pesto dish. Looks good. I love any kind of puff pastry recipe, especially spinach and cheese ingredients. I’m sure I would enjoy that recipe too. Pesto is good on a lot of things. @@KirstenJoerg Apologies for the name misspell - I'm embarrassed! It's corrected (:
@@musichouse- Oh don't be, to be honest, I haven't even noticed!
Joerg is a great chef prepping everything ahead of time and making it looks easy to make.
You need a lot of ingredients for the spinach pie !
That surprised me too

So relaxing your videos...thanks Kirsten n joerg.
No, it’s very easy to make out and hence you should only take one leaf at a time to see that you got wild garlic.
One of my favorite people on youtube for sure!
Wow!
❤❤❤

Dankeschön!
Your amazing. My son in law does that for mushrooms and makes the best soup. You guys really know how to have fun. You guys make my day. Love you.
Awww wild garlic is so so easy to make out and if you only pick leaf by leaf you're totally fine.
Love you guys🤴💛👒 ... Joerg is so complimentary 🥰
