Why didn’t/doesn’t/wouldn’t Satan read scripture the way the world does and NOT do what is prophesied of him and make God and his word unreliable?
It is impossible to believe that an angel of high order and his untold number of followers (“1/3rd of the heavenly angels” as taught) are too stupid to realize the simplicity of this ploy that would make God and his word unreliable.
It is also impossible to believe that God would risk his sovereignty on the whiles of an emotionally and/or mentally unstable being.
It is impossible for Satan to be a fallen heavenly angel, because if he is all this angel must do is absolutely nothing to cause even just one of God’s prophesies to come about, and then the bible (KJV) becomes unreliable and false, do this and many more people would turn their backs on God than ever would because of any evil that satan could do.
Also, what prevents another angel from rebelling in the eternal future, and another, and another, etc.?
Satan is not a fallen angel; he is not a self-aware being. The bible (KJV) tells us he is a power and a principality. This fact proves that the world is not “rightly dividing the word of truth”.
This fabled Satan that has considerable intelligence should know that all he must do is sit back and do nothing to bring about even just one of God’s prophecies, then at best God and his word become unreliable and then God is as fallible as man and no God. Or at worst God becomes the same as your fabled Satan “a liar” and is just a power hungry being. And this would leave 2 billion+ professing Christians without a leg to stand on, not mention those that are asleep in the lord.
To “rightly divide (separate) the word of truth” you must separate fact from fable, truth from tale, and principle from parable. When you sincerely study the bible (KJV) the Holy Spirit will show you that Satan is a power and a principality in high places. In more than one instance in the bible (KJV) high places is referred to as governing seats and rulers, it is not some other dimension with literal ghouls and spirits floating around waiting for a vulnerable human to consume.
As for “prince of the power of the air”, when you enter a house with undisciplined and disobedient children you can feel the contention and strife in the air, when you go to a neighborhood ran by gangs you can feel the tension and fear in the air, and every day more and more you can feel the division and hate in this nation (U.S.A.) the great “liar”, “in God we trust” and “one nation under God”.
When someone is tempted to do something that they know is wrong they have a little debate in their head and lie to themselves and make excuses to justify the action they want to take. Just like the story of Eve and the talking serpent. A talking serpent is a fable; 2 Tim 4:4 (KJV).
A talking serpent symbolic of the lust of the flesh; is truth. The power of those that give into this serpent is what God calls Satan, or to be more specific, the power of those that use and abuse the laws of God “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” the poor, fatherless, and widows, is what God calls Satan. A principality (a government). And any who support him, through lies or evil plans (mind), or with works (hands) are his angels. Hence the mark of the beast.

Millennia from now to what purpose are souls still being torment in hell?
If there is no atonement, if there is no room for repentance, if there is no reprieve, then there is no purpose.
The teaching of an eternal torment makes God out to be a despot, “love me or suffer for eternity”. This is why many find it hard to believe in God.
The punishment is eternal. There is no coming back from the second death, (death of the soul);
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire (our nearest star). This is the second death. Rev 20:14 (KJV)
The unbeliever and hypocrite perish, meaning no longer exist;
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:15 (KJV)
A murderer has no eternal life whether it is in torment or bliss;
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15 (KJV)
Nowhere in the bible (KJV) does it tell us that our souls are eternal.
And then you have this;
4 … the SOUL that sinneth, it shall DIE.
5 … he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD. Ezek 18:4-9 (KJV)
And
5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now PERISHED; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. Eccl 9:5-6 (KJV)
Your loves and your hates are who you are, they make you, you. They also determine how you react to life; they dictate what your envies (passions) are. The bible (KJV) clearly states that the sinning soul dies (perishes), “the second death” you no longer exist.
You don’t punish a mortal with an immortal punishment.
Hell isn’t a place it’s a condition of the nations.
9 Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations. Isaiah 14:9 (KJV)
And
17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Psalms 9:17 (KJV)
It is the condition of the nations after three major wars, (the last three trumpets of seven) for of each of God’s seven 1k year days, “woe, woe, woe,”
6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Psalms 12:6 (KJV)
As for the worm that doesn’t die and the fire that isn’t quenched, they are obviously symbolic:
Worm- disdain, reproach, or contempt, (abhorrence) towards those who help bring about this tribulation (hell on earth), by those in heaven who will remember forever the pain and suffering that disobedience to God creates.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. Isaiah 66:24 (KJV)
Fire- everlasting rebuke from the word of God to those of the second death.
8 …
9 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. …
16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the REBUKING of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
2 Sam 22:8-16 (KJV)
And
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Psalms 50:3-4 (KJV)
And
29 For our God is a consuming fire. Heb 12:29 (KJV)
And
14 … I will make my words in thy mouth fire, and this people wood, and it shall devour them. Jer 5:14 (KJV)
And
4 … for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever. Jer 17:4 (KJV)
Don’t take my word for it, or any bodies for that matter. Come to the bible (KJV) as a child and with sincere want for truth, and not to consume it upon your lusts, but that you may do true worship and obedience to God, with a repentant heart, and with reason and logic the spirit of God will teach.11 … in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:11 (KJV)

I absolutely love how you emphasize the importance of staying in God's word. I believe the word is the strongest weapon we have. It comforts, heals, guides, encourages, strengthens, teaches, disciplines, reminds, brings joy, peace, hope, and love, protects, saves, and so much more. I thank God every day for opening my eyes to the truth. I've been a Christian for many years, well.. at least, I thought I was. It wasn't until about a little over 2 1/2 months ago that my eyes were opened I thought I gave my life over to God but it wasn't until I truly repented and made some changes that God allowed me to see things differently. Praise the Lord! When I tell you that I see things differently, I mean I see things differently, I think differently, I hear differently, I feel differently, I talk differently and everything else in my life is different. All I want to do is live for God and praise His holy name. I open my eyes and say good morning to Him first thing when I wake up. All I want to do is read the Bible, listen to the word, listen to this youtube channel, pray, and I even sleep with the Bible and ocean sound playing all night. God knows that's all I want to do. I can't wait until I am done work so, I can come home and soak in God's word. I stopped watching TV because most of it doesn't sit right with my spirit. Besides, I'd rather spend time with God or my children. Not to mention, I had this tingling feeling all through my body and it was like nothing I've ever experienced before. It was definitely God's healing power in me. I believe God wanted to use me to heal this woman who couldn't walk without a cane. I had this overwhelming tingling feeling and urge to tell her to just get up and walk and I really believed she would get up and walk but, for a split second, I looked at her husband and I was more worried about what they would think about me if I said that to her. I was their server at work and they didn't even know me; these are the thoughts that came flooding in my mind as I walked away to clean a different table. As soon as I felt that intense tingling feeling leave my body, I knew I made a mistake. I immediately apologized to God for being so prideful and went back to the table 2 minutes later. The husband was there alone and the woman was in the bathroom. I apologized to him for not allowing God to use me to heal his wife and then I went on to explain my experience. They are both Christians and the man told me that it's ok that it wasn't my time yet and I will know when it's my time. I didn't agree with him; I knew what I felt and that was the healing power of God in me. I allowed my pride to take over. That night opened up my eyes even more. I had to work on my pride and I'm still working on it. I didn't realize how prideful I was until the Holy Spirit slapped me in the face with it a few times. This ministry has been and still is a blessing to me. It’s amazing how much I can relate with David when he talks about his spiritual experiences and other experiences and thoughts he’s had. He’s definitely walking with God and I don’t doubt that for a second. This expexperience is something you can’t make up. I am going through and experiencing similar things David has experienced and is experiencing. I surrendered every area of my life over to God and I’m doing everything I can to walk in the spirit and put my flesh under subjection right now. I never experienced this level of spirituality and closeness to God in my entire life until I decided to repent from everything. I give all praise and thanks to my Lord Jesus Christ.
