I really was screaming my lungs out on that final lap. Regardless of the controversy and all the grey areas throughout this blockbuster season, both Max and Lewis truly deserved the title this year. They've been outstanding right from the get-go and little separated them for the majority of the season. I feel very sorry for Lewis that his well-deserved 8th world title slipped out of his hands on the final lap in immensely controversial fashion, but when you put this incident and all the unjust moments Max and Red Bull encountered, in my humble opinion, they got even come the end of 22 brilliant races. Max just managed to edge Lewis to 2021's trophy and I do not believe that Max or Lewis, at this point, were robbed of anything after the skirmishes and incidents of the year had been balanced out. Max was humble in victory and Lewis gracious in heartbreaking defeat, I respect these two quite a bit for those reasons alone. Needless to say, we'll all be cheering these two on all over again in 2022 when we enter unchartered territory with those new regulations. Thank you, everyone for making a spectacularly special F1 season all the more memorable!

Same for me! I found out about F1 earlier this March and was instantly hooked to the sport, I was rooting for Max to win especially after what happened to him in the Biritsh Grand Prix
And he deserves it! I don’t care about what Hamilton fans say. Verstappen was CHEATED at silverstone and Hungary, and Baku of course. Hamilton learned that what goes around comes around, and that his luck won’t last forever. With a new young teammate and a complete overhaul of rules, I think it’s reasonable to expect that Hamilton will NEVER get that 8th title. Praise the lord!
it's the fact that you still don't know who is champion, the fact it might still be Lewis or Max. it's the joy to see them race one final time this season, and with this joy comes sadness that this brilliant season comes to an end. all the controversy, all the racing, all the frustration and happiness came through my mind during this lap. all this emotions combined result in something that we won't see again for a long time.

@@YouriKlijn honestly. there was no way he could have held him. New softs vs 37 lap old hards. that just wont cut it. if he covered max off on the inside of that turn he would have had terrible traction on his way out while max (with the new softs) would have had the better turn from the outside and the better traction he would have either switcheroo'd him right there or been so close that the next straight would have been an easy overtake with slipstream. pointless discussion anyways i think but well.

@@reyjazz-u8p well, it was not for nothing, here's why: a free pit stop for Hamilton. if Hamilton was not held up by Checo for such a long time Hamilton could've stretched his lead to where he could make a pitstop to fresher tyres and stay ahead of Max. so even if the SC would've come out, Lewis would also have been on fresher tyres and Max' overtake might not have been possible at all! a lot of things were intense this race and a lot of strategic things could've gone different for a whole lot of reasons, but saying Checo did it for nothing is not the right conclusion to make 😉

One of the best seasons in formula 1 in a long time. Two drivers, two constructors, down to the finish
Why is Mercedes’ not happy
@@buridah328 because they cant take that the fia didnt choose their way amd keep the lapped cars behind lewis so he would win a cheated on race.
@@REALFAUNUS I’ve no idea what you mean. I’m new to F1. Isn’t the whole point of a race is first car crossing the line is the winner? What’s the big fuss. Lewis came second.
@@buridah328 leave it to Toto Wolfe. Like a woman. Happy when it's his way and Karen when it isn't
As a Hamilton fan i have to admit..that was a beautiful championship series and im glad to have witnessed it during my lifetime.
Fair play mate, max fan but I have to agree whoever won this year this was an amazing season, one for the history books for sure
Unbelievably unlucky for Lewis .... he totally deserved the win and the title today
Max is the world champion of 2021 that beaten a 7time record holder champ LH44
Respect for you u are a truly fan of hamilton and f1 to react like that. This is what i thinck when and i look at ur comment in comparaison of 99% of the comment of each side (max and lewis). That a true F1 fan
@@ivandraga5005 undeservedly unfortunately
Bro that ending was even more epic than the last race on fast and furious tokio drift, reality surpasses fiction...
Bro, it was fiction
Not as epic as Jesse’s and Tran’s race at race wars. Jesse thought he was getting his grubby hands on Tran’s sweet s2000 and then in an instant, he saw Tran smoked him
I rewatch this probably once every couple of months. I remember jumping in my living room right before the holidays, almost knocked over my Christmas tree. Wish I could witness it all for the first time over again.
A word for Crofty and that incredible commentary on the last lap!!
