SO AMAZING!!!!! So talented
I first listened to Nikki roughly 4 years ago. I thought "great intelligent nervy performer, but her voice puts me off---a bit too childlike and upbeat" And of course she would have been all of 15 or 16 at the time. : )
Since then, her maturing voice, her ongoing and broadening exploration of how to make moving music with her voice (and her efforts as a song-writer) have won me over easily. I think/feel she is among a handful of current young singers now who have me in awe. She began in jazz, which shows how vocally ambitious she is, and how astute she is at knowing where the greatest craft lies. And now she is broadening out. I totally trust her choices. Take it away, Nikki.

She needs a better manager or something because I really don't understand how she has not hit it big. She has a vastly better voice than 99% of all pop singers. Other singers took quite awhile to hit - the singer LP was kind of toiling away and found a big hit in Lost on You, so it could be a matter of time. It may just be song selection or not finding the path Jazz versus pop or whatever.
