Where can I get those mini clips?
I’m going to do it😉
Check the link in the video description. You can find them on amazon
This was so helpful ❤️
Thank you 💕
What tk do if you dont have wadding?
I guess you can substitute it with thick felt or fleece
Why didn't you mentioned measurements of elastic and the elastic covering cloth.how can we make ours without that😢
There is a written tutorial with this information linked up in the description! hellosewing.com/diy-sleep-mask/
@@HelloSewing omg thank you so much
You are welcome, Bishwa
What's the length of the elastic?
Hey! How long did you cut the elastic ?
I think I cut it 14-15" :) There is a link to the full step by step written tutorial in the description hellosewing.com/diy-sleep-mask/
@@HelloSewing there's no length given for the fabric strip in your tutorial though. What should be the length for the strip?
In another comment I saw 30" strip to 15" elastic.
can you sew the insert to the mask then sew the pieces together? I don't trust my hand sewing enough lol
Technically you can but there will be a lot of bulk at the seams. I do not recommend it
What type of needle did you use?
Ballpoint needle if I remember correctly
What do I do if I don't have wadding or foam?
You'll need the wadding to add structure and volume, so youll need to get some..
👏👏👏👌😍🙏🌹❤❤💐
Great video, simple and straight forward. Thanks a bunch. Have good days.😊
What stitch did you use to hand sew the opening of the mask?
The strongest hand sewing stitch - backstich hellosewing.com/basic-hand-sewing-stitches/
Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. My friend needs one because she has very bad migraines. Off to see now. Xxx
I hope your friend’s migraines lessen in intensity! I’m glad you’re getting her a gift.
Thank you. In a couple of months, I'll be traveling to Sweden. They have very long days there and this should help me get enough sleep.
Very intriguing video, I want to sell sleep masks & lava lamps for a living. ♥✌😋
That would be cool! Go for it :)
@@HelloSewing Thank you! 💞🙂👍
Hi, thank you for the great video! May I ask what is the thing you used to turn the fabric inside out? I know it’s not necessary to use but, I’m just curious. Thank you!
It's a tube turner. There's a link to the one I use in the written tutorial here: hellosewing.com/diy-sleep-mask/
Hi, love this pattern and definitely going to do this. What weight of wadding would you suggest?
Thank you. I used light weight wadding
thank you for the video! super helpful!
Thank you! It's lovely to hear you found it helpful
I dont understand the part that you mark with a pencil, where is that fabric ?
1:16 min
She used it at 3:22 and sew it on 3:35. She mark the fabric with a pencil so she knows where to sew! : )
@@forwoo9821 thank you so much, I didn't do it yet but I will try now. Greeting from Paraguay!
@@erikabrizuela7567 welcome! I made a lot of sleeping mask already from this tutorial :) greetings from the philippines ^-^
@@erikabrizuela7567greetings from the US!
What fabric did you use for the top of the mask?
Silk, but you can use satin or quilting cotton. You can find a list of recommended supplies here hellosewing.com/diy-sleep-mask/
In the video you said cut fabric strip 15x1.75” and on the blog post it says 30x1.75”. 15” obviously wouldn’t work for a 15” elastic.
It's because it was cut on fold and you get double the length.
You definitely need a 30" strip of fabric for the 15" elastic. Hope that helps
I also just noticed it and I followed the instructions without thinking 🙈😫Obviously the strip should be longer.
However, everything else is great! 👍🏽
