2:00 - Another reason to fly above/below any the asteroid belt is to avoid accidentally hitting an invisible asteroid and exploding. 3:00 - If you narrow the scan angle and scan the already scanned signal again, it will split into individual panel reading much sooner. 4:00 - If the signal strength drops to 0 while you're flying towards a panel, it means that your nose isn't pointed at it anymore, so you'll need to move it around a bit until you reacquire the signal. 5:34 - Keep an eye on the percentage of the material left. Some panels can be scrapped in their entirety from one angle, but some need an approach from a different angle to scrape all of it. 9:00 - Yes, you can fit as many as 26 boxes inside the cargo hold, if you fill it to the very brim, so you could conceivably scrape 39SCU altogether (13 in the buffer) before you need to sell it, earning you 562k aUEC.

@@majormaccas Dude I'm making 545k per hour with that system, what more you need? Doesn't have any cons besides you lose time if you get destroyed, but c'mon. In my clan there are people who were making 1M per 30m but risking 10M in investment. They're all doing my cycle now
I tried fitting as many boxes of recycled materials on my vulture, everything snug and tight but all fine. On the way to sell them my ship exploded out of nowhere. It was a sad day... Was too excited to sell them lol
That’s the SC dream killer, I had a prospector full of terranite, I spend almost 3 hour mining, then when landing in Hur L5 refinery I hit Y and exploded
Isn’t it faster if you sell at Grim Hex? Even if it pays less you avoid the train on Orison. I'm new at salvagung ad i was wondering why nobody sells at Grim Hex.
That's almost exclusively where I sell RMC from scraping. With a full 26 boxes in the cargo bay and 13 in the buffer, you only lose about $8k by selling at GH. That's totally worth the time and hassle saved for me. Plus, I've never had a problem selling all of my boxes at once at GH. You don't have that same guarantee in all the other cities.
@@Payne2225 unfortunately I think your math is off. With 24 boxes in the cargo hold and 13 scu in the buffer, all that sells for 80k less at Grim Hex vs Orison. I'm not willing to lose that much per load.

Thank you for being very helpful! this will help a TON of ppl!
@@kabutopz Not a problem 👍
love how he always says mining when doing salvage xD
Damn sight better thanm most guides
man i just thught: I'm gonna try salvaging today... thanks for that perfectly timed Video
Good luck!
I'm addicted to paints, I always snag them.
You can always quantum to Miner's Lament side to Grim Hex and fly from there, is much faster
Wouldn't that make you more likely to get pirated?

You won’t make the same profit per SCU of rmc though, only the TDDs are buying it for 14k per scu

How many boxes does it fill up before you have to empty the hopper now?

What is the scraping minigame with the red bar?
How do you get skins for this ship? Do you have to pledge or can I get em in game

@@DougM_BDXL You're right. I had the wrong sell price for GH.
A lot of people avoid the risk of grim hex cause of player pirates
