Good PSA. I could not agree more. Maintenance on a $30,000 motorcycle should be a priority. To some, it's just a toy. To others, it is a major investment.
I think many people just don't want to bother with wrenching on stuff. It does take time and effort, I've always enjoyed it myself though.
It could be caused by a damaged valve stem core or cap that's corroded or blocked by debris. By the way I bought the FOBO 2 tire pressure monitor valve caps and it works great for monitoring my tires psi.
I looked at the valve stem and didn't see any damage, but yeah it might be something like that.
If you have nothing in it, then you could add some Slime which will seal a small rim leakage and should stop the lose of psi
I'm thinking the same thing, for now I'm just watching it to see how it does over time. The pressure loss seems very random right now, some days it loses a small bit but some days it doesn't drop at all.
Yep, tire pressures... I check mine on almost every ride, especially if she's sat for a few days or more, or the ambient temps have shifted a lot.
I physically check mine about twice a month or so, but I look at the PSI readout on the Wing's display every single time I roll down the driveway. Its easy and quick to check the dash so why not! 😎
@@MotoMengy Ooh, fancy! LOL. I don't have a readout on my dash for it, so I have to check it. I keep telling myself I'm gonna get a TPMS for the Harley... but haven't.
PSA or PSI?
Why not both! A PSA on PSI! That's a really good title for the vid actually....🤔
thanks for the reminder, and 737 is one of my favorite roads
Yeah, Rt 737 is a lot of fun and its very scenic too!
