Great content as always mate. I thought baring a goal that had so much to be pleased with. It was a very grown up performance, it's funny Don Goodman gave the MOTM to McLean but I'd have given it to Kamara or Gray considering how good Norwich are at home and it was a must not lose game. We do still lack that killer instinct in the box but I think with this set up we are better equipped to compete against the other 3 in the play offs.
swap Joseph for the ineffective AGAIN Rutter (who is not & never has been a 9 or a 10, people forget he's a winger & always was!) swap Rutter for Joseph on Thursday, as he has the energy & can hold the ball up without the silly flicks & backheels that never sticks & easily loses possession now from Georgi, the days of him bludgeoning past one or two players & breaking free are long gone now!!! Joseph can work both Labouring Norwich centre backs instead of doing nothing like the woeful Rutter IMO? We need to work the keeper, simply play a proper centre forward FFS! Great analysis as always, Locky. Based on recent form and attitude on the pitch, I gave Leeds absolutely ZERO hope coming into the playoffs. This game has sparked in me some hope, if only because we came out of it with a clean sheet. I'll take it. Beggars can't be choosers.
Think you're pretty spot on Locky..nullified Norwich and controlled the game...I think Rutter should be benched for the return and Joseph brought in to give us a bit more energy up front.
We should be talking now about how we can score on Thursday we’re not going to do it with Rutter as a #9 three shots on goal today the manager went to Norwich to draw so as you’ve got the managers ear make sure or you tell him we need a mobile goalscorer as the #9.
It took Mr Stubborn the whole season to change tactics and then he did it without a No9. Wrong choice with Byram instead of Norwich and why he persists with Meslier putting the defence under pressure trying to play out from the back is beyond me as we cant do it. Every team knows how to stop us now because we do not cross the ball or take shots from outside the box and persist in trying to walk it in. This means our shots are averaging only 5 per game and not the 16 to 25 we were doing. They stop us playing and we bottle it. Sorry but FarkeBall is not very good. Imagine a season where Cresswell got a chance and then FARKE could have had the option of Rodon/Cresswell and using Ampadu in back in the middle, oh but that would mean FARKE being sensible because no way would Cresswell have allowed heads to drop…..
You made the channel because the club pays you stop talking rubbish you’ve been found out mate the stuff about Norwich came from Farkes assistants. Funny how you knew the team was going to a 433 when this manager had his ass chewed out by the higher ups at the club. You might fool the general public mate but you and I know what’s going on.
It's worrying that Farke will not play Joseph, he would fit in with Somerville and Gnonto better than Piroe

Definitely the set up did work as a solid unit set up not to lose however going forward it struggled
