Ok. Lawrence, hello from 2021 lol. Steven Crowder sent me. I am a child of the 70's and as a desert dwelling American have not had the pleasure of your music before. Dude! We know Rush ( and a million other Canadian bands) but I was robbed by not knowing you you. Thank you for making great music: We all grow from such as this. You planted a crop that came to fruition in the USA in 2021. Be proud. you made an impact friend! Scotts be proud!

My sister and I went up to Toronto to Ontario Place to see Gowan play, there was a horrible storm that hit us that day, so the concert was cancelled, but Gowan came out on stage and said if everyone came back on a certain date, he would play for us, without having to buy tickets again. So thats what we did and it was one of the most awesome concerts I have ever been to! He was just Fantastic! He gave us his all at that concert and even played another hour after the applause. Larry is AWESOME!

I had the pleasure of seeing Larry, in the very late 80's.. at the (now gone) 86 street music hall, in Vancouver BC.. been a fan from the beginning.. also saw him about 10 years ago, with Styx... when a classical pianist goes rock and roll.. THIS is what happens... Blessed Be, Larry. Rock On.

Saw Gowan at Ontario Place too many years ago, and became a big fan of his musicianship. I love the fact that he has been able to blend into Styx, one of my favourite bands!

A critically underrated song that flew under, at least to me, musics radar. I may have heard it before, but, after Nope the movie, I have been obsessed with this song. Love it!

Looks just as good as he did back in high school up on the Neil McNeil stage surrounded by keyboards. He had a bit more hair back then, but we all did ;-)

What a gift this little video is. I came to Gowan's music in the early '80's through my adoration of what Levin and Marotta (and the Fairlight) had done on Gabriel's Security album, so it's such a joy to see Lawrence explain that connection with such animation and sincere appreciation. What a good guy.

I saw them at Ontario Place, We where on our Grade 8 school trip, we live 12 hours away up north, we get there not knowing they where there playing we are walking around then we hear his voice, music playing......"Wait we know that voice....." this is the days that when you heard a song on the radio for the first time you had to hurry and write the name down right away to remember, go to the store and buy it, or wait till it came back on, or it played on TV, you heard, saw the video and had to wait again to see if it will come back on if you did not use the VCR to record it. So we realize what's going on, I was there and sit there and told my friends I'm staying here and I'm not doing anything else, lol Till this day I do not know what else was at Ontario place........

I doubt that Larry remembers this, but he played at the Misty Moon in Halifax, NS around the time this album broke. There was a tavern in the basement level run by the same owners and one of them brought Larry to our table there before he appeared on stage upstairs. Larry had a beer or two with us, was very friendly and great to talk with, just a really good guy. He invited us upstairs to watch his set and we followed him through the kitchen and up the stairs to the club. I'll always remember that and recall him fondly because he was so down to earth and such a great guy.
