I could see a movie about a town that’s the current hunting grounds of The Unknown. The film would follow 3 different groups as they get picked off one by one. The technical main character is an investigator journalist who’s putting the pieces together and realizing this thing is much older than everyone thought. It’s been in dungeons long forgotten and taken many shapes. I would like the film to end with the lore DBD give us with Olivia at a motel investigating The Unknown and the Unknown appearing just to get dragged into The Entity’s realm and tease future DBD movies.

This sounds really good too honestly, almost like a direct sequel. I can see the town getting fed up with how many ppl are disappearing at such a fast rate, so this happens. Then the end leads to Unknown getting taken. I just wanted a character in the story that felt like he was also in our shoes during the moments when we were trying to figure out what Unknown was before it came into the realm
Kinda sounds like sinister.
I think IT would bee more interesting if there were several characters And The detective(new comer to The town, skeptick about paranormal) characters would bee called at The start to a family living on The outskirts of some town WHO would report something. Then some sort of a dog would go missing or something Soo one of The characters would bee loking for it And Then they would disapiere, some whan else would disapiere untill nobody of that family would remain, but Then stuff stop's happening. It becomes folklore And stuff, but what happend with The family would happend again And again over The years every time The town had almost forgoten, IT would happend again. The detective character would look into It again And again with every new victim, but Then He would found a cloue, instead of looking for clues in The past, He would learn, about The fact that every family had event of great loss, after which shit hit the fan. He would collect clues, but Then when He Is relly close tragedy would strike his father/ father in law would go missing never Being found, funerall would bee Held, but He wouldn't let go He would try to find what happend, never trying to let go this opsesion would leave to breakdown of his family structure(this stuff would bee going on in The back of while movie like his/hers doughter storming out of The house several time's ,but one day never returning,)untill The end nobody knows or seen The monster. Then The Story can go many ways, you can Say that there way no monster And all of this was Pure psychologi.
You can Jeep The monster, I personally think IT would bee too much similiar to Smile. Or you can Say that He did to himself, but The monster Is still there, Or there Is factory relising chemicals in The Area of The town, maybee there Is just a Killer out there, extraterestrials, military experimenty. Untill The end, The culprit Is unknown😉
The idea of a monster that changes depending on what you think it is, is such an interesting idea, like IT + SlenderMan.
If it was a movie I’d like to follow a detective investigating the Unknown Mystery and details about the mystery change everytime the deceive learns something
i remember watching an episode that was like that on some show, this two dudes like put a forum post that this supernatural killer killed using an axe, and he suddenly appeared with an axe when he didnt before, and then they posted that his weakness is silver, and then they were able to kill him using silver
Yeah ikr, i mean that’s how Unknown works (in theory) I assume. It manifests into what you believe it might be, but the true nature of it relies a mystery
I can see this happening too, it’ll just add to the frustration of trying to unravel what The Unknown is. Really cool

That’s why I mentioned the Unknown film having a similar feeling to a handful of sub genres. Unknown fits that idea perfectly since u can’t even describe it

Dude this is a cool idea. I'd love an animated anthology series for DBD that does stuff like this. It's maybe a bit too ambitious for Behaviour to greenlight. Either way it's too good to pass up and animation is a great medium without limits essentially. You can get away with things that would be too expensive in live action. Oh and I'd love to see you make a video like this for Blight, as he is a very lore heavy killer that could be the protagonist in the film.

@@leek12i It’s called “Down The Well” Since I can’t blanky copy and paste the unknown into my book I made small tweaks.
@@leek12i and since we don’t know a lot about the Unknown the name “Down The Well” References the way of its kidnapping.
My version of the disappearances is that the “Unknown” Takes people to the well and keeps them down there until it needs to a new body to use while it’s currently body is rotting away. It’s take people so it ain’t using a decaying corpse that will fall apart over time. In the book i show the kidnapped friends pov of the well. There are other bodies that are “UVX’D” against the wall, in my version the “UVX” is a burning liquid that can stick stronger than glue and the UVX keeps the bodies from rotting which is why the Unknown cocooned their bodies against the well with the UVX

I could see maybe 10 13 years from now they could make movies,anime,tv shows or animated movies or show off the dbd original killers. but we have to wait and see in the future but I am very interested in the dead by daylight movie.

This video was dope asf. These characters deserve movies or at least short stories. I'd love to see a show following different short stories for each killer. Of course that wouldn't be possible but the mcu exists so there is hope. Then they could even do episodes where killers meet lol

A web series would work for the unknown. We had great horror web series like Marble Hornets, EverymanHYBRID, MLAnderson0.
It fits The Unknown perfectly well. A movie wont, Remember the 2018 slenderman movie? bombed. Marble hornets story? flopped.
Short eps will work for this type of character.
And? so what if those movies bombed. That doesn't make any sense at all towards The Unknown movie being bad or not (which in honesty, won't even happen anyway)

I'm mostly saying this because he's my favorite killer in the game, but I would love to see something like this based on The Oni. Maybe it could be a movie adaptation of his backstory or something like that.

If they do make a film like this I hope they add some sorts of references or maybe at the end you the viewer can see the entity take the unknown or maybe another killer from the game can be seen at the end for a post credit

what movie isn't similar to existing movies nowadays? That's why its called inspiration. The way a film is shot, story is developed, characters, etc is what makes it unique. How many paranormal movies are similar to one another that we watched over and over again? Its pretty rare for a film to standout. So ofc the idea on paper would seem similar to other titles. But no, it wasn't my intention for it to be similar to grave encounters. Plus, Grave Encounters is found footage. I specifically said the film will not be a found footage movie, but it will have found footage moments
