Enjoyed your thoughts ❤Tfs I enjoy this on my skin it’s a leathery Jasmin then vanilla comes in I get no soap or citrus on skin but I’m sure it will get better like Iris did Tonka came smelling delicious I missed out on the vanilla version again thanks
@@Indecencealicia Indeed the top notes were almost non existent on my skin. I need to spend more time with it but it will be hard to dethrone the vanilla one which is my favourite 😄
Hello Karine 🙋🏻♀️❤️🩷🧡 I agree with the bottles all looking alike 😔 I am waiting on the Jasmine delivery as it has only just arrived in Australia. I’m going to cross my fingers with this one🤞🏻 Thank you ❤️🩷🧡🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
@@paulag1316 I need to wear it more (so far I've been wearing it for 2 days only) but I think it may be more versatile than the other ones that I enjoy only when it's cold outside.
It’s hard to resist a Shalimar Flanker. Because I find the Millesime Iris quite sweet and cloying, I spray the Shalimar edt or EDP on top and it’s really beautiful and less cloying.
@@shirleycantoni3152 I found the Millesime Iris too sweet and a bit cloying at first but when it became colder I really enjoyed it. This one needs a cold weather to bloom 🥰
I’m not hating this flanker. I have the other flankers and while redundant in my collection, it has grown on me. The Jasmine is fleeting and keeps on appearing in different guises. I also thought of initial as soon as I tried it, but when compared, the Millesime Jasmine is closer to the other flankers
@@alineonbeauty6294 I also found the powdery floral part and the greeness of the opening closer to Initial but now I think it has its place on its own. I need to wear it more to see how it wears and evolves 😊
Interesting to hear the differences with the paper spray! I don't have any Shalimars, I would like to try this even though I dont feel it's exciting most people as much as the earlier releases. I really enjoy solar touches in fragrances 😊
@@dr.claire.perfume Indeed I think the vanilla and the tonka ones (even the iris one) got people more interested. Still, I'm always curious for a new Shalimar 😆 Paper is a neutral canvas it's interesting to see how the fragrance was done, what it is supposed to smell like and the different steps in the evolution. Skin is what changes fragrances and makes them work on us or not 😅 I know that my skin tends to enhance base notes and sweeter notes so I need to be careful about the balance of the fragrance or I could annoy anyone around me 😆
Thanks for the review, Karine. I don't have this and have no intention of getting it, but I am enjoying seeing people's reactions. 😄
I think people were more excited about the tonka and the vanilla versions, which I can understand as they still remain my favourites 😁

I’ve sworn to myself to stop buying perfume (Shalimar Millesime series included), but here we are (I’ve got it😒).
