In this video I will recreate the junk mail that we altered in my video Stash Busting using Medieval Mirage and Gayle Trims, using two standard envelopes. Come on in and create with me.

2/20/22: This was so cool that I started making one the moment I saw your tutorial. I would have loved to have seen the finished product of your white envelope, which I'm sure came out looking just as good as the first one you showed, but I get it, you had things to do back then. Nice very nice! I think I will try these with square envelopes! I think I'm going to make some Christmas gift thingies with it. So I will be using red or green envelopes. But when I use white or want to change the materiaal to craft color I found paper packing tape that is craft color and! Makes for a very nice covering on just about anything! If the envelope, box, carton or whatever is with print or color I use 2 layers if it is 1 color you could use 1layer. But the tape is cheap and it has 50 meters. I am so happy I have found this tape.

I’m fascinated with that ruler! I’ve seen them & wondered why the edges weren’t straight! I like your work. I want to use the vintage books I have on hand for my creations but can’t bring myself to tear them! Well, except for the Life series on photography, that’s ok to tear up!
Sometimes you can find a box of parchment paper at a second hand store.

Use your hand to press down the plastic bar while cutting the paper. It stabilizes the blade to paper. Thank you for sharing this project. Happy New Year.

Love this idea, plus I really love your papers of photocopied lace with colored backgrounds. Thanks so much for that tip! Come to think of it, I wonder what putting other ephemera on the glass of the copier, with the lace, (sorta like collaging without the glue) would look like when copied? Gonna have to try it next time I go to kinkos 🙂. Hope you have an awesome day!
