It's about being deeply in love & losing it to death. Or the man could not continue this beautiful relationship. Basically PARADISE FOUND PARADISE LOST. Arnold Bourbon Amaral 💙🌏🌎🌍💜📖🙏
Like all great art there can be more than one interpretation imo, but as others have said it speaks of deep loss and fulfillment at having loved. It doesn't get any more close to the bone than this.
He just killed (in a fantastic way ) this song at the Toronto concert lastnight. There were a few audible "wow"s when he finished... have to agree with Elton John's opinion of him!
I didn't put that stuff up. Seems like maybe I should in the future, huh? I figured that a robot is going on and looking for copyright infringements and it doesn't matter what you say, it gets deleted. But clearly not.
He is absolutely fabulous
Marvelous voice! Beautifull performance! Thank you Amazing Rufus!
I can't say how this poem is wonderful....the piano is "sublime"!!!!

Terrific song and piano performance.

Wonderful song..-)
beautiful voice...
who can seriously dislike this song? insane
his writing and skill are too intelligent for main stream.
I dont dislike it, I just think the lyrics are not good.
ok, but not like his dad. then again who can?
Just Beautiful!
Rufus Wainwright from Shrek and Meet the Robinsons did a perfect job singing this song.
Is that Rufus playing piano? Lovely!
i'm looking for a man that knows how good this is... if you get it, let me know.
One of my favourite albums of all time.

Where can I get your piano music? Love it all !
April 20 is when the album gets released in the US. :/
this song reminds me of 'atonement'
you are welcome. and what will happen in the end of april, if I may know?
I don't understand why UA-cam leaves this up and my videos with even the smallest part of Rufus' music get silenced. What am I doing wrong?
