It's been so long since I listened to them I forgot their name, when one of their bass lines and songs came into my head and I wanted to rediscover them. For days it was on the tip of my tongue until I eventually remembered an album title and Bob's yr uncle, I'm here. Still searching for that bassline intro song in my head though....I reckon I'm close now, it was this album or the next. Glad u discovered them. Now I need to familiarize myself with their most recent work. But the 1st 3 offer some very memorable tunes...😊😅❤

Arcade Fire was seemingly not only inspired by John Cafferty & The Brown Band 🦫 with “Keep The Car Running”, but they must’ve been listening to an album by their fellow Canadians (Bachman Turner Overdrive) when composing “Wake Up” (AKA “Taking Care of Business Part Deux”)

I saw AF for the first of many times on this tour. At the end of the show I told my friends "this is the f'ing best concert I have been to!" Mind you I've seen The Cure, Genesis in their heyday, The Rolling Stones, Echo and The Bunnymen, Siouxsie and The Banshees, many more. AF set a tone that is hard to compare.

i used to do to newspaper delivery job, i was a teenager and the guy who i was doing it with always was listening to good music like this in his dodge caravan it was always on the same radio channel and he would keep the car running so it doesn't get cold especially in winter times.

I think Arcade Fire wants to be Springsteen even more than The Killers do.
Well it's actually more of a ripoff of "on the dark side" which is by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. That band wanted to be Bruce Springsteen and the E street band so bad. So basically this is a ripoff of a ripoff. A copy of a copy.
No one will ever be Springsteen except Springsteen.
