Just like the granit if you use granit,tmf,spearfish and the nuclear grenade launcher (forgot name liao) at close range it will deal a ton of dp
I prefer highest speed and damage and yes I have a lot of spearfish...but the platforms do not leverage torpedo count in that case black shark x 2. If that is not possible under grenade launcher use the asw torpedo launcher
For me fast reload is Impo
Black shark is the best F2P torpedo because:
1. fires 2 torpedoes at once good for spam
2. total burst damage better than UGST although inferior to spearfish

One of the most important things is some torpedoes just miss the target specially cn type 096 but black shark always hit the submarines
The torps stats have pros and cons and they should be set up so that the ship and equipment you use are playing towards the pros and away from the cons of the ship. A fast ship like sword ship can take advantage of fast, quick locking torpedoes because you will be able to play peek-a-boo strategy better,
Slower ships will not and may be better suited to just maximizing burst damage with their ships set up ..

Type 12 is also the fastest torpedo on tier 3, I guess.

Bro I feel your pain with the assists. Happens to me constantly. I literally do like 90 percent of the damage and all I get is an assist. So frustrating sometimes

Type 89 still has the best damage per minute, great durability compared to other torpedoes, ok acceleration, rather good top speed. Remember, the top speed often wont be achieved by most torpedoes, because they speed up so slow. Type 12 for example has 136 kn top speed and type 89 116 kn top speed. The distance where the top speed makes a difference is often longer than the way to the enemy.

Bro the speed stat shown in game is only the top speed, it takes ETERNITY to hit top speed. Like the speed stat you see doesn't happen til like 10km range because acceleration of torps is so low. Use MWstats to see a torpedo acceleration. Despite a lower top speed, BlackShark is actually the fastest torpedo. Type 89 also has pretty good acceleration so its faster than Spearfish or even Physic 2

When i start many people talk about that torpedo... So we are there spaming that, front back and front back... Than come other guy with big damage torpedos, and Kill the sub more fast.... In the time dont exist the decoy, but, the important parte is this. Why staying there send little things when take less time Kill some ships and subs with big damage torpedos.... And if i have launcher is more dificult Kill the torpedo with big damage than that type12

@@ibragod Actually tbh I don't have mark 45 Astor nuke Torpedo.... So I use type 12 and type 89... type 12 for fast reload and great speed where as type 89 for great damage... In sword ship... Type 12+type 89

The specs I see when I use torps are Damage, speed, range, reload. The range should be atleast 10 kms. Reload should be less than 20 sec. And more damage more delicious.

Only Type 89. Nothing else. Extremely good one time damage. I can damage my opponent before getting face to face. I win most of the time using this.
But low reload torpedo is much better against submarines.
