I don’t know what they’re feeding you guys at codesmith. But you all give the best explanations of all the most difficult topics of JS. Thanks, great video!!

As an elementary teacher I love the engagement techniques that Philip uses. Even something as simple as the hand motions for OOP and asking what additional functionality can be added to the game. Although that question didn't have a technical purpose in that moment, creating low risk questions for participants really breaks the ice and encourages risk taking later in the lecture (and adds a little excitement to the class). Great blend of technical knowledge and instructional practices!

had some feedback first about annoyance over the constant reference towards wheter ppl were paying attention, until i noticed how little attention people were showing. Mindblowing to me how you cant pay attention to this when its one of the best explanations as to how javascript works in detail, allowing for such a great fundamental understanding of the language. Seriously, i cant state enough how good this material is.
Regarding the learning material and way its presented it’s stellar. One of the best presentations on the topic of prototype and the inheritance chain ive seen on the internet.

Phil is such an incredible teacher. I saw the Async taught by him when I was in NY and came out with a ton despite not knowing a lot of the related concepts yet. Watching this has made OOP so much simpler for me. I wish you guys could put up a copy of him going through each of the hard parts. That's not to be ungrateful for the other posted material or the presenters, they're all top notch. But watching this is like having the content downloaded directly into my brain haha, Phil's teaching is next level.

Wow. Philip must be the coolest nerd ever. He's truly gifted at explaining things and just making absolute sense whenever he utters a word. Damn. I'm gonna seriously consider joining Codesmith. You guys sold me on the course with this one lecture.
