@@balkanhajduk They don't recommend aspiration for covid vaccine. It's a very strong vaccine! But, it isn't just about that shot, folks. It's also about your health in general. Adopt good habits that foster health and strengthen the immune system. 👍💪😇🗺
Finally a decent and smart comment on UA-cam. Vaccines won't cure or treat people's overweight, renal failures, diabetes or hypertension, so the shots are not to blame if people don't overcome any given illness, not just covid. Good habits are always the answer, baby 💪🏻
can the second dose be given after 28 days ,some patients might forget the date. How about the booster dose when can it be given ? will it be 28 days after the second dose , before 6 months atleast?????
Yes, you can still receive your 2nd dose even if 28 days have already passed, but it's better to get it right when it's due because you aren't fully protected until you have gotten it. Booster shots are generally given to folks who were vaccinated several months ago and whose antibody levels are now starting to dip. The third jab gets those levels back up so they have a high level of protection once again.
Technically there are 7 and a half doses of 0.3ml each per vial after dilution. So yeah if the person preparing the doses are really skilful with the needle and provided they use a low dead volume syringe, they can extract 7 doses out of one vial. In practice this is quite difficult with the wide range of abilities across healthcare personnels and they might not use a low dead volume syringe, so the accepted number of doses is 6 per vial.

@@DarthHater100 there are, very less but there are vessels and veins. Only thing safe to inject both intramuscular and iv is b12 vitamin. All other injections meant to go intramuscular can cause severe damage if needle hit the vein
@@Om999- I never said there are no vessels or veins, I said there are no LARGE vessels in the TARGET SITE. Dozens, if not hundreds of small vessels are damaged during an intramuscular injection, but they are small and don't result in an intravenous administration of the drug/vaccine. Lots of agents are given both IV and intramuscular besides Vitamin B12. Steroids like testosterone and hydrocortisone, antihistamines like dimenhydrinate (Gravol) and diphenhydramine (Benadryl), pressors like epinephrine, or antibiotics like Penicillin G, are all safely given both IM and IV. @@DarthHater100 it's not about damaging blood vessels, it's about hitting a vein. And again there are veins everywhere. this was in my recommendations
Makes you wonder how many errors have been made seeing how complicated it is to administer these properly.
Exactly. For one they didn't aspirate the injection
Dose looked like 3mm, not .3mm. No aspiration to avoid vascular injection.

Did 10ml diluted we can take only 0.3ml and discard balance ?then why they are made like 10ml diluted it is wastage of diluted
95% effective post 2nd dose! The other 5% has to go to your habits, like exercise and eating right. Not smoking, drinking alcohol, or abusing drugs.
I was curious why my nurse did not seem to cleanse the site nor did she put any bandage or cover on the site.
She should have alcohol swabbed the area before the shot, but a bandage is not really necessary
I got my first vaccine
