    Psilocybin mushrooms.
Best shrooms I’ve ever had! Had some amazing trips when I first started taking them. Now I micro dose every few days before work and it has literally changed my life completely for the better.

I got f**cked up with alcohol for over 8 years. Also suffered severe depression. Not until my mom recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. I will be 2 years clean after trying out a psilocybin treatment. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms. Saved my life honestly from addiction and depression.

I decided to try Amanita Muscaria, by vaporizing cap material after proper drying/decarboxylation. The vaping was not pleasant as far as taste, but that was easily ignored. The effects were subtle, but for a brief period after my third vaporization with a very small amount of cannabis I felt a significant shift in perception that was MUCH different than the very familiar cannabis head space. It was a very pleasant, grounded feeling where a train of thought could be easily tracked and studied for its content, and occasional perception of time slowing down while doing tasks. Even a tiny glimpse of what people talk about in regard to the time passing as a series of snapshots. I didn't come close to experiencing that phenomenon fully, but like I said, just a glimpse, such as while doing something in the kitchen for instance I became aware that I was glimpsing images of things I had just done a second prior but that was not replacing my perception of what I was currently doing. A very weird headspace in that regard. Perception of music and color were noticeably enhanced. I had a few very light CEVs but the experience of pressing my eyes where you get those glimmering points of light was definitely enhanced! Quite the light show, with a few very interesting and random hypnagogic type flashes of images at a few other times when I closed my eyes looking for CEVs.
All of that said, I'm not so sure I will be doing this very often even though it was an enjoyable slight taste of psychedelic experience added to a small dose of cannabis. The reason is, I have felt really slow, lethargic, slow witted, somewhat depressed, in kind of a hangover sense, but without classic hangover symptoms like headache and nausea.
I can't attribute this to too much Ibotenic acid as I didn't get but the slightest sensation of extra salivation, and no sweating at all, or any other bad symptom. I vaped approximately 2 grams.
There is really no reason I should have felt these hangover symptoms apart from the Amanita M, and I got plenty of sleep, and had some very strange dreams. I may revisit them, but not really compelled to, given what seems to be a significant trade off regarding how I've felt the day after.

I'm on my third week of daily dosing of AM (with intervals of two-days of non-use) and I will say that I've noticed a significant decline in my anxiety. I have been suffering from childhood abuse and service-related PTSD, and my use of prescribed anti-depressants as well as heavy (legal) cannabis intake have all but lost their efficacy. My dream-life is probably the best indicator that something is happening at the subconscious level. Rather then the repetitive nightmares and waking frights, my nocturnal "excursions" are more lucid and have a neutral to wonder-filled quality. I wake with a whole-body calm and my waking days are not filled with that tightness of angst that came with knowing the negative effects of addiction to other forms of medication. I'm not a highly spiritual person, but this is probably the closest subjective experience I could label as "metaphysical". I understand the term "magic" now when it's used in this context.

I'm on the tail end of my first real amanita muscaria experience now. It was a low dose, not a microdose but not a tripping dose. Very fascinating experience, I just felt really relaxed and heavy and slow and a bit drunken, but it was really enjoyable and I can see how at higher doses this can get into a dreamlike state where one loses track of linear time and space. I would be scared to try higher doses of it without a sitter present because the quality of it seems to be more deliriant/hypnotic than psychedelic. I'm used to doing low dose psychedelic trips solo, but I can tell this is a different beast. Start low and be careful with these.

I think it's fascinating how Amanita muscaria and Monotropa uniflora (aka indian/ghost pipe) seems to have similar psychoactive, anxiolytic, and pain killing properties but by targeting different biological pathways, and they're both growing in symbiosis/parasitic relationship with the same species. I've found both in the same woods in eastern Canada. I've experienced low doses of ghost pipe (home made tincture) but I've not had the courage yet to try fly agaric.

Hi form Czech Republic. Regarding the urine collection - I know an old guy, who studied and also used Amanita M. He explained to me, that they used to do it because this process is in fact a pre-metabolisation of the active compounds and people that then drink this urine would have a much better "trip" than eating the mushroom. Which makes sense for me, as the mushroom already went through the acid stomach of the first consumer, so the content of the muscimol should be higher, than of the ibotenic acid. He also said, that in a group of people always one of them would eat the mushroom as "sacrifice" to the group and next time someone else would do it.
Thank you for your work, big fan here:)

Id love to see a dedicated video on aeruginascin (and the species that produce it, inocybe aeruginascens and pholiotina cyanopus). It's a trimethyltryptamine compound, said to be far more euphoric than other psilo-compounds. There's almost zero information online about this, it is my highest goal to find these species - luckily I live in the native range of pholiotina cyanopus. It blows my mind just how little information exists out there about this stuff. I was brought up to believe any information could be found online but with many of these psychoactive compounds there's almost nothing. I really wish I had the training and resources to persue this myself as more than just a hobby... and that I had been born into a society that didn't demonize anything fun and enjoyable.
But yeah... aeruginascin and baeocystine would be great to hear about! There's gotta be more which we simply haven't discovered yet... like the sea sponge that produces 5-Bromo DMT.

You know, honestly I have to attest that vaporization of the gills VIA a PAX on the highest temperature setting seem to be providing some of the best experiences of muscimol. Whole dried during the day, a tea or oral ingestion for the day. Oral ingestion of raw or dryed can be a bit of difficult between effect and nausea; while fasting can help, each person may need to titrate and work up to levels they see fit. This is an advanced medicine that requires careful preparation for which effect you may seek. I would say ONLY THE SEEKERS need apply for now.

Time looping is an interesting phenomena as it is something that can also occur in dreaming. In Anthroposophc thinking this would probably be explained as consciousness being focused on the etheric body. The time going backwards also correlates with Steiner's description of the nature of the astral world/body. .... and intimately linked with the process that causes retrospective life reviews (reverse order) for people who have had near death experiences

Time is relative depending on the state of consciousness.
Repetitive motion is the program of a person, hence certain habits can be caught and broken.
Less pain, sleep, power is due to relaxation as blood, energy and consciousness flows.
One needs spiritual science and practice to understand the effects of these, not just consumption.

  • @pedroclaro7822

This mushroom really has potential! I tried it slowly increasing dosage and still got a bad experience - nausea and belly aches. I did get blood tests done days later and I was fine, so I resumed experimentation. I've tried a high dose once but I had eaten and didn't get much of an experience.
As a result of my initial interest thinking i could have a dreamy experience, i collected and dried hundreds of these tiny buggers, so i had to do something with them. I have been microdosing since November and it's now January, and my anxiety is heavily reduced, if i have issues falling asleep I'll take a tea of this after which I'll easily get some Zs and i have memorable dreams (i used to never get/remember any), and I feel somewhat fearless with them which is probably a placebo.
    9/10 would recommend!
If you don't want any psychoactive experiences them just boil them for 15/20 min and discard the water, then rinse well and prepare as intended. I replace other mushrooms with these in all kinds of recipes. They taste nutty

Hi, I just wanted to share an experience about the time warping effects, but it's not with muscaria.
Usually with mushrooms and truffles, time goes noticeably slower at peak time, but one time I didn't get only the usual slow time, but something even more interesting.
In my own experience, the first one with psilocybin actually, I took a packet of 15g Pandora truffles and ate it whole. (Wich was very strong for a first time).
Forward into the trip, I decided for some reason to watch tv, at one point, the speed of the film going on screen was going very fast but the sound stayed the same speed, and my brain weirdly processed it like it was normal, kinda hard to explain but image was going fast, sound going normal and to my brain I knew there was something wrong but still it connected the informations of visual and auditory stimuli correctly. To this day, I did like 7 trips, this first one was by far the weirdest I experienced. The visual and auditory level of brainfuck in some experiences can makes you question reality very deeply. Also in this same trip the noise selectiveness and cancellation was something. Pandora truffles are no joke, really, I don't know from wich cubensis strain it comes from but they are very strong.
So yeah, my point is, heavy time warps can happen with psilocybin too, and not only muscaria.
Btw I'd be very interested to see study on this particular effect and how it happens so if any has been done do not hesitate to share a link to it.

around 35:00 it seems Armillaria is being confused for Laetiporus, and with Laetiporus it actually has nothing to do with the tree it’s growing on but rather that specific species of Laetiporus are more likely to cause GI upset for certain people and those species happen to grow in particular trees :) (mushrooms do not bioaccumulate toxic tree compounds; they can bioaccumulate environmental toxic elements such as heavy metals but this does not have much to do with Laetiporus)

Hey I heard that story from Paul Stamets too on JRE about him being stuck in a loop and dropping his camera, and I remembered hearing that story for the first time and being horrified by it and thinking “I’ll never take that mushroom.”
Anyways, I just went back and re-listened to it because I’m interested in amentia muscaria, and while he did talk about amenitia muscaria during that story, what he actually took was amanita pantherina. Idk anything about mushrooms, and if there’s any difference at all, but just for anyone else’s info that’s looking into this stuff right now

I see a lot of comments regarding reducing anxiety. I haven't tried a larger dose of Aminita yet but intend to soon when the circumstances avail themselves. But as a side note if you are seeking a reduction in anxiety I can highly recommend changing your diet from a high carbohydrate to a low-high fat one Keto or even carnivore which is what I do there are multiple health benefits one of them are people getting rid of antidepressants. I eat one 500g Ribeye steak once a day have no cravings for food in between have plenty of energy. I was 50lb overweight not any longer. Try it. If you want to know more look up Dr Ken Berry, and Dr Antony Chafee. Professor Bart Kay and Dr Shawn Baker. All have great channels on UA-cam.
