I love this short film so much! Merry and Felicity are so cute together! I saw a couple of "cross-over gold nuggets" I saw a flashback from Merry's Merry Christmas, I saw Marshal and Wolfgang from Detective Dobie and I saw the beach boardwalk from Beau's Not-So-Valentine's Day when Pekoe, Judy and Audie performed. It was an honor being a cameo in this. This short film hit my top 3 and I will treasure this! Excellent job C & N! Keep up the hard work and looking forward for more content in the future!

I never realised how similar Felicity and Merry were now- but that may make sense as I don’t have Merry as a villager and I see Felicity a lot more since I’ve had her in City Folk, New Leaf and New Horizons xD
This is such a good series and really, really seems like how Felicity would be as someone who’s had her as a villager for years. Her wanting to be a popstar but then a fashion designer- that just fits her perfectly!
Though I do also think she could be a duo with Merry ngl 👀👀

I don’t think that it was intentional, but I feel like this short film and title could be a reference the those myths in which they say celebrities we still have today actually died or went into hiding and were replaced with look-alikes, most famously with Paul McCartney and Avril Lavigne. And we see this happen with Merry who replaced herself with Felicity in order to get away from the public spotlight, in fact one of the news reporters in the part where Merry was declared missing didn’t rule out the possibly that foul play was involved. But that’s just my speculation to how this short film’s plot is similar those myths.
