It's perfect. So I bought another one last week. It's a pro controller through and through and half the price of other pro controllers despite being better.
I bought one of these & I'm so impressed with it that I bought another one a week later 🤣 when people realise that they don't have to pay £200 to still get stick drift anyway these things will sell like hot cakes.

Hi, the extension for the dongle, what length did you use to make the dongle work correctly?
hi I was looking to buy it, but before I need one more information about the analog sticks. Do they click easily while pushing them in every direction? What I mean is if you push them in the corners, can you press them easily and they register the click? Because i tried multiple elite series 2 and they have this issue where you cant press the sticks if they are pushed to the corners, they can't be pressed in every direction. This is something that no one talks about but is really important for many gamers!!

I'm on limited funds at the moment. No access to a PC, mine is down. I really want the Apex 4 Pro, will struggle for a month or so. Should I just get the Vader 3 Pro for now, how can I assign the back buttons on Android? Does the Game Centre software on Android do button assigning? Could you make a video using the Flydigi Game Center software?
Awesome review. I bought mine and just waiting for shipping. How is your experience with the recentering of joysticks? They said it causes deadzones after heavy usage due to weak spring used on the k-silver modules.
I have a spot in the video where I mentioned it. They weren't dead center but wasn't bad enough to notice only time will tell. If I set the dead zones to 2 they was perfect.
which one do you recommend to use in forza and similar games. vader 3 pro? apex 4?
Apex because is has adaptive triggers.

1:42 but why would you use the tip of your thumb to do that in the first place? I personally never used my thumb's tip, it's always the middle area of my thumb to press those buttons (A, B, and C, Z). I only use the tip of my thumb to press X and Y.
Exactly. Never had used my tip of thumbs for these buttons. It's always easier to glide my thumb with the part where the joint line is.
What thumb grips would fit it?
No kontrollfreaks fit I think
Gamer haven's review on this controller reveals none fit except for the modern warfare limited edition ones for ps4
Would it be possible to use an alternate dongle as the Microsoft's one ?
Bought this a week ago would’ve liked it but the dpad is soo big I keep pressing on it while playing it’s aweful or would’ve been amazing if you have really small hands it would be good
If you play a variety of games from shooter to story and you prefer Xbox shaped (but any controller is fine) would be best (basically what controller do you think is best ?)
Got my unit in the mail just this morning, decided to give this and the Rainbow 2 Pro a try.
I prefer the Rainbow 2 Pro myself, it feels sturdier, built with higher quality plastics and the features are very well baked into it, its a joy to use, but the Vader is undeniably quite a pleasant controller to use as well, i'm particularly fond of the rumble motors on the triggers, they're very strong, awesome for racing games, the mechanical face buttons are also so so good to use, they feel better than the membranes on the Rainbow.
I also i think i got lucky with the dongle lottery, i heard some people can get stronger or weaker dongles, as a dare i connected the dongle to the back of my case, played from some 5 meters away (i usually play around 3m away) and it was absolutely fine, not a drop in the connection.
Apart from the plastic quality, what i also don't like is the macro buttons, way too easy to activate them by accident, and the placement is nowhere near as good as they are in the Rainbow, honestly not a fan.
Both controllers aren't bad for sure rainbow 2 is a bit cheaper as well.
@@PughsReview I think i got lucky when i ordered them on Aliexpress last week, US$45 each, and the Rainbow 2 came with the base and accessories, i'm very happy with both
I own both of them too, and boy I hate those mechanical face buttons, I also own gamesir t4k and hate them too. V3p has way too much of a travel for microswitch, I genuinely don’t get why manufacturers use rubber pad with a microswitch (both kaleid and Vader do that), they feel very mushy for me because of that, membranes on a r2 pro are a joy, mostly because of a how big they are probably

Thanks for all your hard work. Curious to know if the bumpers are clicky or mushy? I play flipped and use them ro aim and shoot so this is important.
Bonus question, if you or anyone here who owns one can confirm what size Kontrol Freeks fit on them. I like using the tall galaxy kontrol freek on the right stick for aiming in fps games.

Bumpers feel softer, but not mushy, as for kfs I have Chinese knockoffs from AliExpress and they fit very hardly, but they do fit (I had to push them so hard I was worried I would damage the stick, but it’s okay, for the second kf I have used pliers to slightly bend legs)

Think your on old firmware or something is going on. I have two vader 3 pros, both run at 500 on xinput with under 2ms delay with the dongle. Wired however low to mid 400s oddly. One I purchased shortly after release, other about 3 weeks ago no difference in polling rate, mine appear to be locked at 500mhz as no change but slight jitter increase when overclocked.
Your comment regarding the C and Z button is completely true, they missed a huge opportunity by not placing them near the triggers or sides where you are not forced to take your thumb off the right stick to press them. This controller would dethrone the Scuf envision pro if it had those buttons relocated for shooters.
I use this controller on xbox with a converter from alliexpress, multiple random ones appear to work with it well. People claim the brook adapter works for it but I tried it, doesn't work correctly it is way to laggy and joysticks can go wild.
Hmmm than for the comment you may be right about the update I'll have to check on that. That's usually the first thing I do with the pads but I could have forgotten. For the brooks adapter I agree I couldn't get it to work I tried which sucks cause this is a great pad I want to use on xbox. Don't mind me asking which adapter works with it I'll pick it up and try it I don't know about alley express though lol.
One of mine was real behind on updates and software kept saying the dongle and controller was up to date, once i updated the software on my PC it then showed I was behind. Perhaps some have that issue.
I cant even find the listing on alliexpress for the dongle I purchased back when, and when I try to read the writing on mine its chinese and I got no clue lol.
However a guy on discord who orginally talked to me about this controller uses a cronus zen with the vader 3 pro on his xbox and that is a converter you can easily pick up online. He claims there is no lag with it and he as well started with the brooks adapter thinking redditers were right..@@PughsReview
