“The dosing guns we’ve used before you had to squeeze hard and you had to squeeze completely to get the full dose or else you left a little bit in the tube. With the EasyDose you just pull the trigger and it does the rest for you. It’s the right way and the balance of it when you insert it into the mouth of the calf, it goes off really good.
I usually do the ear tagging as well, so my hand is fatigued from using the tagger, so it’s really a relief when I pick up this dosing gun and I don’t have to squeeze it so hard. It sure makes the day go a lot better. All you have to do is just pull the trigger, you don’t have to hold it there to make sure that all the dosage has been administered into the calf.
