👍👍👍 for the Morph tool method, I create a 3d document for each object and I add my hotspots in the 3d document to facilitate the cleaning of the 2d representation🙂

There are so many things you can do with Morphs. I remember when the tool was released many years ago. The number of videos released by Graphisoft was more than I had ever seen before to demonstrate how to use a tool. :)

@@SkewedBIM it would be nice if graphisoft worked on optimizing the size of objects created with the Morph tool

@@snnor I honestly think that would be a hard thing to get right. How could you develop a polygon optimisation where it worked exactly how a user would expect it to. Yes, you could apply a deviation value for it to then reduce the polygons if the deviation was less than 'x' say. But the problem is that sometimes one section of a morph might need that gradual shape change as it is important, whereas other areas it wants to be cleaned up. A similar approach to the reduction of polygons is applied in the ModelPort API. I have fiddled with that a few times and found that it never works the way I want it to. :(

@@SkewedBIMI speak about 2D optimization to avoid the cleaning of the 2D symbol of the object, for all that is 3D I do not arrive has to understand why there is always no option which uses technology Remesh of ZBrush and the reducer of polygon of cinema 4d which belong to maxon to optimize the polygons of the objects in the various nemetschek, you will say to me that it is not the same data-processing language then I would say to you Archicad in C# gives access to all the
      technology of the group 😉

I am searching for help in hotspots in param-o.
In the graphisoft's support materials, there's nothing (I've found) about how to visual-script hotspots & "hot-lines".
But creating an object you can quickly encounter the need of adjustable hotspots other than the bounding box's hotspots.
Actually, I can use the gdl scripts to create adjustable hotspots, but it's far from easy; and doesn't seem to be easily combine with param-o.

Istvan I have to admit I have never taken the time to learn Param-o I really haven't seen the benefit for the types of projects that I work on to go to all that effort to create objects. My guess is it isn't an available feature of param-o. But to be certain I would suggest reaching out to the user community through Graphisoft Community.

Yeah, I have a problem with Hotspot too. Even a simple script, rotating the block via Grasshopper AC connection always rotates the wrong origin plane. I create the block by Param-O.
