Bird Scooter installation of External battery.

- UPDATE: Does not work properly with ES-1 scooter.
Won't go over 5 mph, unless you push start.
Holding down the power button and throttle wile rolling.
(Definitely has more torque and range)
May need to order a new dashboard to make it compatible.
Install instructions should be correct for other models.
Will keep you posted when I get one.
Which size L ranch do you use to screw off the long screws to take the battery off
Tools that are not standard are listed in video it was over there summer when I made the video.
What size what is your long safety bit that you used to screw in the battery on the last two spots?
Was over the summer used a common allen wrench...... The none common tools are named in the video.

Yeah I kind of have to jump start it by rolling and turning it on at the same time then it operates the way it should.
Did this improve your top speed or just range? I have the same setup but my top speed hasn’t changed.
Has more kick and range. No real change In top speed.

It looks similar to the ninebot es2‘s battery. Does the ninebot es2 battery also fit the birdflex?

No these won't work with any scooter the one I bought was specifically for my scooter.
Hey I’m having a hard time trying to connected to the Bluetooth
If it's the same bird scooter I have in my video I am having the same problem as well seems you need a new dashboard and firmware update to be able to use Bluetooth. The external battery does not function properly without it.

The one I picked up on ebay. Had a list of scooters it could work with. Would definitely look at the listed recommend scooters before you buy.
Also this is not an spare battery. It's basically an addition to your existing battery and extends your range/distance.
