I quote pretty much the same way as this, Instead of lowering the price of the gutter clearance I always offer a complimentary window clean throughout with a brush over the frames as well. Thanks for the advice mate

Can you clean the Facias with only pure water and water fed pole if you don’t have the equipment to put the cleaning solution onto it?
Your Cleaner Windows Sure. With pure water only it can just take a little longer. Soak an area first and then go back to scrub after a couple of minutes. A cleaning solution will help loosen the dirt more quickly, but it’s perfectly doable without.😃👍🏼

Yeah, I did something like that for a while. The longer the wfp hose is, the harder it will be to pump. But if you keep the wfp hose fairly short, it should work.😃👍🏼
How do you get on with the vents cleaning with a pole. will the water go inside them and harm anything? Also will they drip dirt after cleaning thanks
Sparkle Broadstairs The water won’t harm anything, but you can sometimes get dirty drips from the vents. If that happens I go around with a cloth or car wash mitt on a pole to dry it up before I go, similar to what I use for the inside of conservatory roofs. Perfect we’ll priced I would say around £120.00 to £150.00 including windows frames and doors. If we clean gutters out as well I would do it for £150.00 2 men 2 to 3 hours .... cool video ash 👍

Usually around £4/5 per meter. Depends how bad they are and how big the job is.👍🏼

What length pole did you use to get up to the apex on the gable side?
You will need a 25/30ft pole to reach the top of the gable. Some are higher than others.👍🏼

If you used ladders to clean out gutters would you clean gutter/fascia by hand
Steve Hughes I would usually get Craig started on washing the fascias using wfp while I cleared out the gutters. I find washing the fascias much easier with wfp so I always do it that way now.💦😃👍🏼

Christopher Hawthorne £5 every 3rd clip is a good guide, but you might want to charge a bit more if it’s very dirty. Of course it will depend on your location and method of cleaning etc etc 💦😃👍🏼

It’s good to have some sort of method for these things. It’s easier then to compare between different jobs and gauge price increases. 💦😃👍🏼

Swirl Jet Yeah, you could do. I usually tie it in with the scheduled window clean if it’s for an existing customer, so that gets added to the bill.😃👍🏼

A.E. You seem to have a working system of quoting. A component of conducting business is knowing how to measure the work, time and labor. All service businesses need to know their hourly rate! To do this: 1. Add the total number of man hours of a single job. 2. Divide the invoice amount (excluding taxes) by the man-hours. 3. $?.?? is your hourly rate. When you know your hourly rate, you can reverse this dividing your invoice amount by the hourly rate to determine how much time it will take to perform the job. In my area, hourly rates range between $55 to $67 per hour.

Seems far price to me
I do the same kind of thing i count the length between the clips
If just cleaning the gutters.facias and soffits it's normally £3 per length and if gutters need clearing out aswell i put up to £5 per length
If just cleaning the gutters out then £5
This all depends on how big the building is as sometimes it can go upto £200 so then time wise kicks into play and i try and thing how long it will take and make a price that way.
That seems to be the rough price in my area

I charge £2.50 per metre of gutter fascia and soffit combined. £2.50 per metre to clear out too

Sometimes if they say yes too quickly, I think maybe I should have charged a bit more. If they um and ah but then say yes, I feel like I’ve got it just right. And if you do a really good job they will be happy either way. Sometimes it depends how much you need the job as well though I suppose.😃👍🏼

Glide Cleaning Limited This was quite an easy job as they weren’t that dirty, but I would probably charge a little more if I were you. Don’t forget the downpipes.💦😃👍🏼
For just washing the facias and guttering I would charge 30 quid all in another 30 to clear them out. In my area customers would laugh at me if I quoted £150 🤣
Price can vary from area to area, but I think a good business image can help command a better price too.😃👍🏼

Hes spot on with price for the size of house. Areas are different . My area if your business is vat reg it's more. For us cash in the pocket.
