Hi Janet, thank you for the awesome tutorial. Just want to know as a resin beginner why do you use liquid latex in the final part of this coaster?

Hi Gert. I put a layer of liquid latex on the bottom as a barrier from drips that will form. Once the resin is cured I remove the liquid latex and the drips come off clean so no sanding off drips is needed. Some people use Elmers Glue instead of liquid latex.

What was the latex for ? To remove any drips ?

Yes. The latex makes a barrier that can be peeled away with the drips.
