I let the length scare me for almost 10 years and avoided it...I'm so glad I finally took the plunge!
This list has missed the moment where Luffy beats the shit out of crocodile tearing up layers upon layers of bedrock and launching him in the sky where Vivi can see him and remmembers how he said "I just have to beat Crocodile's ass right?" and tears up because he fucking delivered the smack down upon him.
People who hasn’t read or watched one piece think it’s this goofy pirate adventure.. which it is but it’s also a dystopian story that touches on things like classism, slavery, racism, tyranny, manipulation, freedom etc,. He punches Charlos *at the slave auction* ffs
One Piece is worth watching...lots of character development and really lots of filler moments, but at its core it's all about friendship and the strength you can achieve through it👍 The only show that has made me cry multiple times and will continue to do so until the end
In regards to One Pace, I would say just skip fillers and flashback episodes, but don't do One Pace. Sometimes having situations drawn out makes the payoff SO MUCH BETTER. One Piece is a journey that deserves not to be rushed. Doing One Pace means missing a lot of interaction among the crew and little character moments that make them more endearing.
It’s a mixed bag. There are moments where the anime expands things and it adds weight, but then there’s the 27 Rebecca flashbacks, or the one Wano sumo scene that drags on for like 6 times what’s necessary.
@@ryanager8029word for word, this is EXACTLY how I feel. I actually like the heavier emotional moments where you're forced to wait in suspense! But the Rebecca flashback is one of my first go-to examples of how god-awful the pacing can be.
