I make very similar candles. I just started not to long ago. I buy my bowls/containers. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these!!! You had a GREAT idea there!! Their beautiful!! Congratulations!!! 😍
I make candles very similar to this and sell them. I just started. I always put the candle warning label on the bottom and before I make the candle I do use some Fireguard on all of them and then I make the candles. But I still let people know to not leave unattended. Just in case. 😬 I didn't use the Fireguard when I first started (learning process and watching lots of videos). Then I saw that I was supposed to be doing that! So after that I do it on each and every one.
beautiful. been wanting to make my own. but going crazy on the heat protection element. did you use anything to give it heat resistance. and is that a stain with sealer that you painted on? Thank you for this vid it is giving me some motivation
I make and sell very similar ones. I do use FireGuard I got on Amazon on all of them before I make the candles. I started making after watching lots of videos. I love making them and have sold many and get so many compliments. You should do it! 😊 I buy my bowls. These are so beautiful!! Wish I could do that!
Just stumbled across your video today. What are the purpose of the flat sticks you sank into the wax? How come you didn’t use a wick in its place? That’s my only question. However, excellent video. I enjoyed the original idea and it has inspired me.
I make similar things. Not quite as nice. I use the barttery operated flicker candles because I'm afraid people will look at them as a fire hazard, as nice as they are. You've got flames licking dry wood. Beautiful though.
I’d kill to have that kind of control on a bandsaw… easy to see this man has been a crafter for a long time. I solute you!

Unique ideas !! I like the range of different looks you come up with ~
What are the insurance or liability for them catching fire , if i make one and a persons house burns down can they sue me ?
Good question
Yes, they can sue you.
You can always say “ignite at your own risk may burn house down” gave them a warning you’re clear lol

@@sandraaguilera6540: Thanks for that little piece of information. Something I never thought of.
Do you need to seal the insides of the holes before you put the melted wax in?
Very nice!
Beautiful. Nice job

Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing the video. What brand and type of band saw do you have?
Beautiful!! Do you find you can use green wood as well, or have you had issues with cracking? Wondering if I need to dry the branches I have
Gorgeous ❤❤❤❤
...those are amazing!...by the way, I love what you did with your fingernails towards the end of the vid...😉
Matt
What are the tools and their brand names?

They are called wooden wicks, you can use either or to light the candles. A lot of people use the wooden wicks for the crackling noise.
I love the way you done your nails after making them to put the finishing touches 😂
Incredible 🤩
Thanks !!
Anyone know what model the small disk grinder is?
