    dont mind the channel name but i actually use to work in the machine department. awesome company. I ended up moving out of state so i couldnt keep the job but great place. great people. I loved every minute of it truly. learned so much. the part they were milling in the umc 750 looked to be like one of the stators we made fore the converters. :)

      i should say that it was just the main part of the body. they actually make the ring as well and fit them together by heating the ring up and freezing the fan looking part

    Got Revmax goodies in my transmission man it's great! Valve body, thermo bypass, torque converter and input shaft, went with a BD flexplate because theirs wasn't in stock.. but it's awesome!

    I love my RevMax 850 68RFE and low stall torque coverter. The break in and relearn was pretty meticulous. But Revmax was very helpful and prompt with their support tickets for advice on their website. It's awsome to see their old shop.

      I heard it was! Also making sure you got the right type of trans tuning as well. I'll be at that road soon enough

    • @pandabear870
      @pandabear870 Рік тому

      @EVERYTHANG DIESEL the tunes were not exactly fun. There was a lot of test driving involved. And you have to do no less than 25 full 1-6 shifts at no more than 30% throttle and after that about 200 miles of stop and go traffic at no more than 50% throttle. Then when you switch tunes at least 30 miles stop and go before WOT. But once I got the power settings figured out that it wanted, then checked CVIs and line pressures, it has been fantastic. It definitely grabs gears with authority which i appreciate

      Yea that sounds like a nightmare haha but it paid off though! Did your tuner have a good transmission file or you ran stock file?

    • @pandabear870
      @pandabear870 Рік тому

      @EVERYTHANG DIESEL we had to create a file using RevMax parameters. Then verify that we were within RevMax specs.

    • @pandabear870
      @pandabear870 Рік тому

      @EVERYTHANG DIESEL they have an install guide and they tell you what pressures they require then with some back and forth we were told what CVIs we should see after relearn. They also describe defueling and lockup should be the stock specs. Or damage to the billet shafts can occur. Then we took all that and created tunes for me to test. Also RevMax recommends the cheapest fluid i could find so it does not have lubrication modifiers that can effect clutch holding power. There was a lot of back and forth to make sure i did my part.

      Check your grid heater relay. If not that then check actual grid heater

    I’ve heard a lot of good stuff about Revmax and put their valve body’s in some of my buddies trucks. But I’m not not happy with the tech support, after you already dropped the cash. I got a zero flex VB for my 68rfe and they will only answer emails. $1000 plus is a pretty penny no matter how you cut it. So being able to “talk” to the pros before they say “you might get charged shipping and fees” makes a world of difference.

    • @EVERYTHANGDIESEL
      @EVERYTHANGDIESEL  Рік тому +1

      It would be nice to talk to someone on the phone tech support wise. especially on trans builders. But they got instructions on there website and usually include important information with there parts

    • @andre73fb
      @andre73fb Рік тому

      @@EVERYTHANGDIESEL it was after the install had some weird things happen at idle. On a new trans, not knocking them but a little more customer support would be appreciated. The part looked awesome and I have several buddies that had no problems.
