C418 ft. DeadMau5 - "Minecraft 03" (Unused Music)

This would later develop further into Mau5cave - which is more of a "real" music track vs the ambience track you hear in this video that might have once been used in early 2010 Minecraft, however never saw its way into an update. There are unsubstantiated rumours the original Minecraft 03 could have been for the Nether, similar to the track Excuse, however neither ended up being used.
Mau5cave was released for free by C418 in the album Seven Years Of Server Data which is made up of loose ends, unfinished files and various "very old music to very recent remixes." C418 noted that "Some might sound terrible and the sound quality is something that could be better (FLAC will not save you most of the time)." Which is noticeable in Mau5cave but not in Minecraft 03.
In my opinion Mau5cave is a remix of Minecraft 03 after it was never used in the game, however it never really found a place on any album until years later when it was released as a collection of free older songs. Mau5cave also sounds to me like it has some audio balancing issues as if the remix was never finished, whereas Minecraft 03 seems to be a complete track that for whatever reason wasn't accepted by Notch as a sufficient track for the Nether similar to Excuse. Although this has never been confirmed.

I really like this track, wish it would've been implemented. I can see why though if it was meant for the nether, sounds slightly too happy for it.
