Billow Wood - The Black River

This is an energetic instrumental set of tunes that is made up of two original compositions as well as the old Jig “The Price of my Pig” also known as “Sheelina Gra - Will You Be Mine”. This tune can be sourced in the O’Farrell - Pocket Companion, vol. 1 (1805). The two original compositions are called “Seamie Mulhern’s”,after the passing of a friend, and “Ode to Conway” which was inspired by the fiddle playing of Zoe Conway.
