Put one keg and one perserve jar in front of the shed and fill that one last, then when you're outside you know when the keg in front is done the whole shed is Makes it so much easier to know when to harvest!! Hope this helps, love the content!
If you want, you can also make yourself a Mahogany grove, since you'll need a lot of hardwood anyways. Just plant a bunch of the seeds and ignore it for a while, and it'll go nuts. I did that and I honestly have more hardwood than I know what to do with.
I love that you made this into a video! I find it so fun to plan out my farms and see what ideas others have when doing theirs. It makes knowing what I'm working towards much easier. Even if things end up getting changed during the actual playthrough having a direction helps. I would suggest since you are playing on the Meadowlands farm that you do make room for some of the new Mystic Trees. I'll only say they help with one of the update features 😊
If you move Greenhouse up one, the horizontal path can go all the way across straight! Also, if oak trees go up one, the next horizontal path can go up too, to maximize space!

as someone who always does multiple fish ponds w their own preserves jars, once the ponds fill up w 10 fish each, the 5 jars WILL be just the right amount lol. sometimes they even feel too little depending on timing

I’ll probably redo what i did on my old farm and have a room full of coffee plants, one for kegs with tea and coffee, one for crystalariums and idk about the rest, maybe all the crafting stuff?
One junimo hut does actually work with 4 iridium sprinker areas you have. If you have 2 sprinklers on the left, leave 2 empty rows, then the other 2 sprinklers on the right, the junimo hut fits in the center 2 spaces and covers it all! That's usually how I do mine. Honestly, though, who cares how someone else feels when it's your farm, ya know?

Hello Evelien, that’s my first post to a gamer I ever made and I hope it helps and you see this. You forgot the new mystic trees. The logs near them produce purple mushrooms. Pines produce chanterelle. Otherwise only maple trees have a 10% chance for purple mushrooms (referred to Stardew Valley Wiki). Also the mystic trees produce mystic syrup when tapped. And another even more important fact: as soon as you have the Treasure Appraisal Guide, making dino mayonnaise is worthless. The price of artifacts (as which the egg counts) is tripled and so the selling prices of the eggs are 1050g/1311g/1575g/2100g in comparison to 1120g even with the artisan Profession.
i know you mentioned it looking too full at one point near the end but i think it looks really nice and well put together!!! i love the little fences secluding off certain things and the fish ponds are in such a cute little area! just imagine if you decorated it with outdoor seasonal decoations too!!!! thats what ive been doing with my farm lately its so much fun!!!!!
The nicest flooring is a random combination of cobblestone and steppingstone. Nice variety between sizes of stone and it doesn't look copy pasted. Also the little "island" with grandpa's shrine can act like a natural barrier for animals (except ducks).
I only have 1.5 on the switch, but you should be able to cover the little path that comes with the greenhouse with whatever path you want. That’s what I did
I never beautify the farm until I've done the qi fruit challenge. I need all available dirt and by that time a part of my Ginger island farm is taken up by bees and ancient fruit so I can't fully devote it to Qi fruit.
Hey Gab! Do you plan to use the new tree types? I don't see either one on your farm anywhere. I don't want to spoil what they are, or how to get them, unless you're okay with that (I know sometimes you are, but as they're new of 1.6, I'll just say there Is One). I think you might like the aesthetic of them, if you check them out! (Edit) I forgot there's two. lol
My one request is moving the barns up to match the coops but this looks great! No matter how far the farm gets I'm glad to watch your future plans for it :)
the way you were placing the trees first, effectively blinding yourself, when working out the mushroom log thing was stressing me out 🥲 i get placing one to check the height situation, but then i would go from flattest to tallest object (in this case path, logs, then trees) so i could see what i'm doing the whole time lol

Oh man, it pains me seeing such a minimal amount of space for crops. I know Gab isn't going for perfection and rather just to play on the new farm and see the new additions 1.6 has but I have to have enough space to grow at least one Iridium Sprinklers worth of every crop in every season or my OCD would rebel.
Stupid question but is there a step by step Stardew Valley instruction thing anywhere? I have had this game for ages and it drives me mad. Firstly it took me forever to figure out how to get her out of bed and open the door. Then when I got out I was farming for five minutes and she had to go back to bed and I have ni clue how to feed her lol. I want to like the game like so many others but It annoys me to no end TIA for any help :0) xx

Only am like 10 min in the video so I'm not sure if it will get addressed, but when I was planning my farm I'd noticed that the Meadow Farm layout wasn't really accurate? In the sense of bushes and the like; for example I can't place the farm house all the way to the back compared to its initial location since there are bushes in the way but that doesn't show here in the farm planner.

I think you should move the greenhouse back one so the path in front can line up with the path coming from the left and then put the lightning things in front of that path. Also it seems like putting the pine trees in vertical stripes with the stumps also vertical would make seeing them easier. Could you move the 2 barns back 1 space, just leave the fence where it is, so the cows and pigs have just a little more space and the barns would be more equal to the coops.
Move the pines to the left to align with the crystalariums, then you can move the mayo/egg area and the pillars left 1 tile, and expand the roads between the ponds to be 2 wide which would make the road below the ponds line up with the path coming from the greenhouse. also, the empty space between the bee/flowers and the pond could just all be flowers right up to the pond, fencing around it to the ponds edge, since you still wanted to do a flower field.

I just use the machine thing from Demterius
I used Grandpa's area as a sculpture garden of sorts! So you can put the desert statue there, owl statue, the museum book statues, etc.
Don't forget that regular grass (green and/or the new blue kind) can look nice to fill some of the unused areas that you mentioned are too empty.

You don't need to access a/the silo. You can add hay to your silo(s) via the hay hopper in any coop/barn.
