I say this as 30+ year fan. Zero hyperbole. Danielson is the best in-ring performer I've ever seen.

He's not better than Flair, Steamboat, Perfect, or his modern counterparts in Omega, Okada, Benoit. Kenny Omega single handedly saved American wrestling by having several epic matches in a foreign country. Danielson couldnt have done that but has had a legendary career. He's like Brett Favre to me.

The greatest trilogy in AEW history.
There is another trilogy which is very Niche, because it mostly went under Tony RoH banner. Garcia vs Yuta (Pure championship), the story involved Orange Cassidy and Moxley feud, Yuta changing mentors, Garcia proving his loyalty to Jericho and earning respect of Shibata. A lot of AEW Lore went into that trilogy, and the matches were just chefs kiss.

Newsflash, Bryan Danielson is not leaving AEW, he just won't be wrestling a regular schedule. He is still heavily involved in AEW away from The Cameras.

Danielson lost quite few matches recently, putting over guys like Ospreay, Kingston, Garcia. Even when he doesn't lose, he make sure to put over his opponent (also he lost to ZSJ, but that was more of New Japan show)
