Handmade End-of-the-Year Art Medallion Awards

This year, I am starting a new tradition for my art program. I handmade large medallions out of ceramics to recognize students who are always doing amazing things without expecting to be recognized.
There are 3 different levels of awards; The Doodler, The Sketch & The Masterpiece. These were my childhood nicknames from my parents as I grew into the artist and teacher I am today.
The Doodler is one who has a passion for artmaking and enjoys experiencing different forms of art with lots of potential.
The Sketch artist not only is great at creating, but demonstrates strong leadership by always being a positive example for others.
The Masterpiece does it all. These artists are developing their own artistic style and show what possibilities happen in the hands of an artist.
The students will hear my story how these nicknames of mine came to be. The same pride my parents had watching me become an artist is what I feel as I see my students grow.
