I use these in Southern California, fishing the Coronado Islands of Mexico. I've caught calico bass, rock fish and sheephead off the bottom. I've caught bonito, barracuda and yellowtail on the surface. They work very well for a variety of species.

Hi, just wondering how deep do you fish these? The weight is much less than a lot of other jigs I’ve been looking at

You can fish from the surface to the bottom. I often use a 4oz or 6oz to jig the bottom for rockfish. Often a few cranks off the bottom and the salmon grouper smash them. But as always the current will play into what you drop down but they are amazing option for rockfish
