I have spent approx 4000 studying bitcoin and blockchain tech for three years. I should’ve just read this book instead! It’s all absolutely brilliant and correct 👍
First half details, in simple terms, the history of money in the world.
The second half of the book shows how Bitcoin is a beautiful solution to a modern monetary system.
But it's not, in the long run bitcoin can't work as money unless the government forces people to uses it, which nobody wants
Thank u for this audiobook.
I thought I had a pretty good understanding of the history of macro economics. I WAS WRONG! The should be mandatory reading for every high school and college student!
The same behind the fraud financial system are behind the “education” system
this promotes a scam with debunked economic theories
I wish I read this book when it first came out
Pls we really need Thomas Sowell's basic economics book in full audio.
You got it!
It's available on amazon's audible.

The Bitcoin Bible thank you Mr. Basic Economics !
His name is Saifedean Ammous.
Watching the crypto market's ups and downs shows how quickly things can change. The recent misinformation incident reminds us that external factors can shake things up. In crypto, strategic, informed trading isn't a choice; it's a must. Remember, caution is as crucial as ambition here. Stay alert, diversify, and let's ride this unpredictable market together. At the core is Boston Weber, whose deep understanding of crypto and traditional trading is key. His all-encompassing investment approach and staying updated on trends make him a valuable ally in this crypto era….
Boston's market analysis is top-notch. His advice and daily signals are highly accurate and worth following...
Boston Weber strategy has normalized winning trades for me and it’s a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started.
The internet is filled with so many useful information about Boston Weber...
Even the worst recessions offer wonderful buying opportunities in the markets if you're cautious. Volatility can also result in excellent short-term buy and trade opportunities...
Boston’s analyses go beyond surface-level trends. he delves into technical, fundamental, and sentiment analysis, providing a holistic view of the market.
Fantastic! Thank you for uploading.
It is claimed several hours in that human time is the ultimate resource. I respectfully differ. It's not time, but attention. The Enemy recognizes this, and wastes human time with propaganda and deception. To combat this requires wisdom, which also requires attention. Granted such can not be measured as easily as time, but still.
Thank you for this thoughtful response. It's given me something to think about.
I love thinking about this. I always wondered how time could possibly be the most valuable resource when it seems that the time is mostly being used to run around in circles and stay occupied with busy work.
You can have time without attention but not attention without time. Time is the common denominator and will always be the most valuable asset
@@jamesforeman8028 It is a fair point. From that perspective, attention is tool for conserving (or wasting) time.
Time is the ultimate resource. That's why we are selective regarding what we give our attention to and for how long because we do not have infinite amount of time.
Amazing book
I've heard of a technocratic version of the labor theory of value except it's specifically analyzing the amount of energy needed to produce a service or product which gets really complicated when you think about people involved because those people need food for their own personal energy and to grow that food or to have that food requires energy to produce but it's an interesting concept of credit based off of energy production/consumption
5:14:20 Why there was not a depression in the USA during the 19th century, when there was not a Fed, except when the Gov acted like one
Thank you for your work!
Thank you BasicEconomics for this. I appreciate it %100. I was curious is it wrong or insulting to ask for Das Capital on audio? I want to understand
the Marxist as well as the Classical, Keynesian and Austrian Economic perspective. I never had a formal economics course and want to thank you again for your efforts with this channel for educating me.
Perhaps the biggest flaw in Marx's thinking in Das Capital was the Time Value of Labor theory. Something that most people tend to not consider about Marx is that he didn't have access to solid statistical data to draw conclusions from. He just worked things out in his head that made sense to him with very limited data.
@@BasicEconomics is that what is often referred to the "Labor Theory of Value" when people talk of Adam Smith and Karl Marx? Thanks for responding and for posting econo-audio-books three cheers for you the speakers and the authors!!!

I partially agree with his take on modern art and music but there are definitely still artists out there that masters of their craft.

I skipped so many chapters on audible then returned it because if u read broken money (if not u should). It's the same but better and updated. Which isn't the author's fault since he wrote this first.
But it might save u some time.

The relationship between external factors such as inflation data and the Federal Reserve's decisions and their impact on the cryptocurrency market, particularly Bitcoin, is truly intriguing. As the financial landscape undergoes rapid transformation, it becomes crucial to recognize the increasing significance of alternative assets like Bitcoin and embrace adaptive, innovative approaches. In the midst of these market shifts, it is commendable that individuals like Judith Sherwood are thriving by utilizing effective trading strategies. Her success in amassing 32 BTC within just three weeks highlights her profound market knowledge, expertise, and well-deserved reputation as a visionary in the world of cryptocurrency trading.
She is JUDITHSHERWOOD VlA TE L E G R AM.…
I've followed many traders over the years, but none have been as consistently accurate as Judith Sherwood. She's truly in a league of her own.
Ever since I started following Judith Sherwood’s strategies, my trading game has elevated to new heights. Truly a mastermind in the trading world.
Judith Sherwood is among the best traders on the internet and I'll keep saying it every time.
This is very impressive , meeting Judith Sherwood has been a blessing , I never thought I would make so much profits in such a considerably brief period of time.
Thanks!
You bet!
