I’m legally blind and the color of the objects in Blender against the background has been a massive barrier to learning the program for me. I’ve been on my ‘first’ project for 2&1/2 years! So many people told me that what I was wanting to do wasn’t possible but I guess I just wasn’t asking right. I’m so glad I found this-thank you SO much!

Wow. I’m honoured to have helped you out. The learning curve can be pretty steep with Blender at times, even when you can see everything clearly. It's a fantastic program and I wish you all the best learning it.

@jasond.b-w The following may help you better visualise the various faces. Click on the dropdown menu (downward facing arrow) in the upper right corner and activate Cavity. Increase the values for Ridge and Valley.

@@MichaelBullo I have an armature (an avatar placed into Blender from Plask). I have left the sphere (which colour I changed) as the background. But when I changed the sphere background colour, it changed the colour of my armature too. I am just unsure how to keep the sphere my new colour and how to keep the armature a different colour.
