Hey!!! I have an audition in a week!!! I've never acted before lol! What was is like and what did they have you do?? IDK what I'm getting into lol!!! Should I have a script prepared?
@@chez4387 Hey, there! That's really exciting. I unfortunately didn't make the cut. Just review the different characters on the list they give you (or is on the audition page) and practice as many as you can. They will likely point at you and assign a role for you to play on the spot and give you a scenario and it is up to you to improvise based on that. It is fun but can be stressful if you do not have experience in improv (I had only done improv a handful of times years before I auditioned). Good luck! :)
@@chez4387 No need for a script, either. Improv is all about being fully present in the moment and using whatever info given and background about the character type to bring a moment to life.
