- Alaba International Market located in Ojo, Lagos state is home to the biggest electrical and electronics market in Nigeria but what many do not know is that a large section of Alaba International market is home to the biggest household appliance thrift market in Nigeria and I dare say in West Africa.
If you are setting up your home, overhauling your kitchen, starting a household appliance and decor business, buying office furniture, buying gadgets or baking and kitchen equipments ensure you visit Alaba by yourself. First, go and window shop before you draw conclusions but I bet you won't regret going there.
Most of the items you need to set up your home will be found here either as new or thrift.
We will be exploring the kitchen ware thrift side of Alaba. Find the vendor's contacts below.
Many online vendors shop here (dropship).
NB: This is not a clothing thrift market.

I remember that my first CD player set ever was from Alaba market. I felt like a king in school. It had some really cool speakers.
Awwwwn, you were a very big girl in school if you have such cool speakers. I know that feeling.
This guy definitely has quality stuff in his shop. More European stuff which though some are probably made in China, they’re very good higher grades. And when I compare prices to the U.S., they’re definitely much cheaper.

Those cake mixer on display are from the late 80's to the early 90's.Not a good value for your money? That was why it was thrown away/Skipped by the owner in Europe. The owner would have upgraded to the latest, robust, energy saving, efficient cake mixer.

Hello, thank you. Please how do I locate this market from Lasu?
Alaba and LASU are in the same local government area, Ojo LGA, if I am right. Once you have come out to the main road that connects to Mile 2, you can get a bus going to Volks or Iyana-oba, that's were you will stop and take public transportation inside the market.
