Ok. So after like 30 years of this being stuck in my head I finally found this song. I had sung this in chorus in the early 1990s and for whatever reason the song decided to embed itself in my brain for the next 3 decades. Brings back so many memories

Two things that help, or three 1) all well in tune 2) Bass very loud 3) balance of volumes among the instruments -- compliments to the producer or knob-twister.

I showed this to my first graders, they really enjoyed the gestures, and copied them, it helped them remember the lyrics.
