So seriously though, what the hell did you end up doing with the rivet situation
Bro no lie, I grinded the old ones off and stuck nails through the holes in the bracket and plastic. Grinded off what stuck through the other side and called it a day!! Haven’t had any issues yet
But you gotta use nails with a diameter just slightly bigger than the holes. If it’s too loose they’ll slip right out. Gotta be just big enough that when you push them through it stretches it and fits in there snug.
I figured I’d just run and grab a rivet gun tomorrow. Have no idea which rivet size to
Use though. I’m guessing whatever is closest to the diameter of the hole for the tightest fit. Also I was thinking I’d maybe drill out the existing rivets to free up the brackets
@@matthewt8561 both of those are great options. But definitely go slightly bigger diameter that way it all fits snug and nothings moving around on you.
I opened up the rear fender on mine a couple days ago and I was honestly just like, "what the fuck?" Has WAY too many bolts. Like an unnecessary amount.
@@hunterkennedy641 yeah I have no idea why their engineer team couldn’t make that part easier 🤷🏻♂️🤣
What is the little part called the reason being is because the same thing happened to me and I’m trying to take those off and get new ones but I don’t know what they’re called so can you please tell me what they’re called?
@@KXNUGGET7 are you referencing to the plastics? As “little part” or the small rivet deals going on for the battery pack?
@@whippinshiddies the small rivet pc
@@KXNUGGET7 I have no idea what the hell they call them. I believe they’re called studs or pins I’ll double check and get back to you. To me they coulda just put some screws or bolts or something
@@KXNUGGET7 did my best try researching parts diagrams nothing is coming up for that particular piece. It shows them on there but not labeled as a bolt or damper or anything. I guess they are basically just small rivets
