Thanks guys! I love fruits in Southeast Asia, they are so fresh and yummy! I bet they're also delish in Mexico, I've only visited Cancun before at a resort, I'd love to explore more of there!
@@DeannaTroyTravelsOh, Mexico has infinite places to visit...And about fruit... Yes, they are good here, but only in some states, they are available all year. For example, it´s difficult to get good mangoes and some other fruit in Mexico city in winter😅
@@DeannaTroyTravels I am in Mexico City and I have been living here for 16 years...The price, in my opinion, is quite affordable, especially if your income comes from abroad😅
Hey! Thanks so much! It really was very cool to be able to tour a cave without walking! Thanks so much for stopping by, can't wait to check out your videos too! Great vlog, brought back alot of good memory for us, thankyiu, we loved the Underground River. We want to back there day and do the zip line. Hope you are both well.
Thanks so much! This river tour sure is something else! For some reason we never knew about the zipline there! We would of loved to do that too! Thanks again!
Beautiful! I didn't know they have multilingual audio guides now for the Underground River. How cool is that! It's been years since I've been there. Still awesome like I remember!
Thanks so much! Yes! I thought that was so cool for international travelers from around the world. It was really nice because a lot of the times with group tours you can barely hear the tour guide, with the earpieces the tour is perfect! Did they have them when you were there? When did you visit? Thanks so much!
@@filamstagram So interesting! Yes now they want everyone on the boat to be silent the whole time! Including the boat drivers! To give people a better chance of seeing bats etc. - But it's probably just because there are so many boats going in and out that it would be so loud with everyone talking. Was it loud 10 years ago, were there lots of tours happening at once?
Awe your welcome! The Philippines is so beautiful it's an honor to film there! Thanks so much! Welcome to my channel, feel free to subscribe so you get notified of the next travel vlog! Cheers!
Well that would happen right away! We were picked up from the hotel to the boat areas in the smaller tagalog / tuk tuk version. That's the main mode of transportation there! Haha. Thanks so much!
I assume those were bats flying in the cave. I like the monitor lizard too. How big was it? Looked to be less than a Komodo more than a gecko. I can’t believe all that you two did! I traveled with you for a month and was beat. I can’t imagine 2 years! I’m looking forward to more vicarious travel through your wonderful videos Deanna!
Yes, those were bats! Lots of bats flying all around us in that cave, as well as all the many caves we went too! I'm not sure how big he was, I thought he was a komodo dragon at first but I guess this species is different and not poisonous. Yes it's pretty crazy that we were out for two years, we lived in an apartment in Da Nang Vietnam for a break, but other than that it was a different hostel / flight every 1-2 weeks! I can't believe how much we did either! Thanks so much Joan
Love this video! Those boats are so cute, this made me want to ride one! The footage of the cave was great, and I know someone who would love that lizard walking around. The cute additional footage at the very end is priceless.
Thank you! Yes I miss those boats, they are very loud though haha I used fun music to cover the motor sounds. And thanks so much, the cave was very beautiful. Those children running away from the waves reminded me of Pam and I going "Ahhhh" at the waves when we were kids! Too cute!
Hello Pauly! Oh that's so cool! What do you do for work in Sabang! Do you like working on the beach? Are the tourists nice to you! They better be! Haha How's the weather over there now? Welcome to my channel :) Nice to meet you!
Daluyon beach and mountain resort i work there, actually im more on adventure to work not my liking in manila, island is paradise should live here forever :)
I wish I could live in Philippines forever! My family would miss us too much haha. You work at a resort, that's so cool! Do they give you free food and free activities? Sounds like fun!
You two sure have a lot of unique adventures! How long was the underground river? Did you have to duck? Good thing they had you were helmets. Nice editing with the song. Did you taste one of the monkey's fruits?
Thanks Carl! Tourists are taken through 4.3 km of the river, but the full length is 8.2 km. I think we may have had to duck a couple times, I'm also glad we had helmets! Thanks! I love that new UA-cam band and had fun creating the montage to that song. The monkey was actually eating a mushroom! HAHA. But we were monkey's ourselves with our mango smoothies at the end of this video.
Hey unfortunately I don't have the information on the specific tour guide. I remember it was a local place as we booked it while we were there. My blog has some more info in general about the trip: www.deannatroytravels.com/post/honest-review-of-the-underground-river-at-the-puerto-princesa-subterranean-national-park - All the local tours offer the same package pretty much so just shop around or ask your hotel/hostel if they have a tour. Have fun and good luck!
