So they reached that Elephant, told him about the scenario, and asked him and he agreed by saying "I thought Lord Shankar has forgotten about his wish, but I'm glad he remembered it" So they took the head and placed it on. So they reached that Elephant, told him about the scenario, and asked him and he agreed by saying "I thought Lord Shankar has forgotten about his wish, but I'm glad he remembered it" So they took the head and placed it on. Ganesh was not the name given by his Mother "Goddess Parvati. She named him Vinayak and Lambodar. Ganesh means the Leader of ganaas "which he became later on.
