Awesome video filled with tons & tons of knowledge. Great Tour Cameron, you know your stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it!
They really do reminds me of ancient little beasties. Creepy and cool all at the same time.
👍❤️👍
They are very cool, but I doubt I will ever have a tank large enough to house one properly. I will just admire from afar.
I've had 2 ornate and 1 Nile in a 55gal for years they really don't grow that fast or move around much
who knows the address of the place
Senegal bichirs are good for a 55 and up. They get to the size of a hotdog but that takes a while.
STOP I LOVE THEM
All good.
Can bichirs live in 68-72 degree water comfortably?
Not very but can Probabley survive
Baa - sheer 😂 is how it's pronounced literally everywhere I've got 2ornates and 1 Nile in a 55 they don't grow that fast after 10 inches
I have 3 Bichirs in a 30 gal tank and they do fine the bigger the tank the bigger they get , i want them to stay at about 7-8 long and they do great they are with Angel fish , Butterfly fish and Loach and 2 rubber nose plecos I’ve had them for about #3 years oh and a parrot fish is with them also
Man your really overcrowding and making their lives a living hell
Can these fish be kept alone?
I also have that question
Absolutely no need for another it’s also A lot easier to keep them alone
@@Ill176 thanks
Yes they are not social
These are Literally why I got into Fish. Got a 125 Gallon with 4 Bichirs. 1 Delhezi, 1 Senegal and 2 Leucistic.
Would love 1 more like the Gold Dust or Teugelsi Bichir 😍
@titoham-DCXLs I Love Em So Much! They're So Active/social. My 1 Senegal be Zoomin back and forth on the top. I literally be hearing the water turn cause how fast be zoom across the surface. He's also my top water fish 😂The rest Typically stay at the bottom. Happy You're Enjoying Yours!!
buettikoferi this is the first time i see them. so amazing pretty
I want retropinis for upper jaw bichir,i need to collect all type upper jaws..
Great video. Cameron really knows his fish. Were they out of my favourite, P. delhezi, or what. Learned a lot.
Unfortunately the footage of the delhezi was not useable =(
I will have them again in the future 😁 I do enjoy the jurassic type fish 😊
He certainly knows his Bichirs! Great info 👍
I say it as bye-shers
Can’t believe P. Polli didn’t make the list!
I thought that fish in the thumbnail had two guppies in its mouth at first. It's fins look just like guppy tails. Lol
Lol i say it the same way this dude does everyone ik say bikers its weird
Thanks for doing this one. I didn't realize that there was this many varieties.
could you have CRAYFISH with these BICHIR FISH ?
Nope they’d definitely eat it
can these fish be kept on a very rough surface floor aquarium decoration.. or do they need a smooth glass , soft sand surface ?
Soft is preferable so they don’t get stuff stuck in their throat
👍🏻👍🏻
Would the smaller species be okay in with my rope fish?
The senegals would be =)
Would these guys fit in with silver arowanas???
Love your vids btw - so knowledgable
A big enough one
