OMG! Everyone thinks I am crazy but collards are one of my absolute favorites to grow and cook. So easy to grow and so healthy to eat! Never heard of this particular one, but definitely looking into it
I love to learn about new veggies for the garden. I’m going to wait and see what they do for you and then I’ll proceed from there. Thanks for sharing Stacey 🥬
Wtg Stacey! That soil is beautiful! I'm looking forward to seeing your greens harvest. I can smell ham hocks boiling and cornbread baking as they wait. 🤗 I hope our Lord blesses you and your family with plenty! ☮️💖🙏🇺🇸🇮🇱✝️
This is very interesting, this is my first time learning about Flash collard Greens, I enjoyed watching you plant, see you on the next one my new friend!!! 😄😄
Looking forward to seeing how Flash turns out. I have never heard of this one but I like the 55 days. I hope you get something too. That blue tote is mine! Take care.
Very nice, I need to clean out my beds and start trying to plant more collard and mustard greens. Worms, grasshoppers, and aphids have destroyed most of what I planted. I know my collards are pretty hardy though. I think they will grow new leaves that will be good, as long as the insects and things go away. The only time I wish for frost, is to get rid of those pests. 😀 Are you able to harvest collards and other greens all year long where you live? I can usually until January when snow and very cold temps cover them and kill off all the leaves. A lot of my kale and collards though can handle a pretty good freeze and bounce right back.
Thank you Eric for watching I can grow collards from Fall to Spring although I have seen videos of people in my zone and state grow them into early summer. Last year mine bolted in late March. That’s what I like about a Fall garden once you get the plants to a certain size and the pest are gone your on easy street.

I got some popcorn and I’m looking to see how they come up. Did you build your own compost bin or did you buy one?
