2. 5 eggs
3. Green onion
4. 1/2tsp salt
5. 1/2tsp pepper
6. 1/2tsp vinegar
7. Cooking oil

One side of my family is from New Orleans, so I tried this recipe but added spicy turkey (any spicy sausage will work) sausage to this along with chopped bell pepper and onions with Creole Seasoning, oh WOW, it was deeeelish ! You can any any seasoning you like with it. But traditionally we use pork sausage, but I no longer eat red meat, so turkey works for me. I also added uncooked shrimp (keeps the shrimp tender & buttery vs rubbery & dry) & red pepper flakes ! This is such a refreshing change for breakfast even without any sausage at all ! Hi I'm new here, this recipe looks so delicious and easy ! In the Southern part of Louisiana, people eat okra either in soups, stews or sliced and fried. But this recipe is a great alternative ! My family tradition with okra is to
(1) add Shrimp and dried red pepper flakes ! I would like to try this recipe and add tiny baby (or Salad size Shrimp) shrimp to it or real shredded Crab Meat !
(2) Grated or shredded Imitation Krab with green chili peppers would be interesting also !
(3) maybe Tuna Fish and green onions or green chilies?
I live a few blocks from an Indian Cash & Carry, they always carry Indian Okra (a bigger sized okra than our variety) so tommorrow, I will pick some up ! Thank you so muc for sharing this ! SUBBED ! 🤗🥳🤗🥳⚘⚘⚘
