WELLINGTON, New Zealand. CHRISTMAS PARADE 1961

Put on line for archival interest. A short video shot by me in 1961 on Standard 8mm and converted to digital 60 years later. A slice of happy past life in New Zealand. Originally shot mute as all 8mm films were in those days. I used Japanese Sakura brand film which was distributed in NZ at that time. To be honest, I have only guessed that I filmed this in 1961 based on one placard in the parade. It may however have been one or two years earlier.
