Love you how start prepping yourself with it's not real before "Based on a True Story" puts an end to that dream. 😁 Thanks for the react and enjoy your well-deserved horror break.
AHAHA for real I had deja vu back to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre opening crawl 👀 they just looove reminding me that this is all real right out of the gate 😂
Now you have to see the whole franchise 😂 The Conjuring ✔️ Annabelle The Conjuring 2 Annabelle Creation The Nun Annabelle Comes Home The Conjuring The Devil Made Me do It The Nun 2 And next year The Conjuring 4 premieres
@CatherineLaSalle Yes! Annabelle first appeared in this film, and then had 3 more films. The third one features the Warren couple, but the protagonist is their daughter. While The Nun is one of the entities from The Conjuring 2! The biggest horror franchise in history, the first to reach the $1 billion mark and the first and only to surpass the $2 billion mark. The connections that each film has with each other are very good, in fact, in addition to The Conjuring 4 which premieres next year marking the end of the franchise, there will be a series for Max
Recently watch your comments on The Exorcist, Silence of the Lambs and this one. Great you always start with 'okay i'm ready for this' and got wrecked at the end. I'm addicted to this kind of movies but not affected by them. The Descent from 2005 is another one that creeps under your skin. The movie The Ruins from 2008 less but still a good one (for me). Put you on my list for watching movies.

AHA for real I was so worried that I blew out your guys’ headphones during the watch party when I saw the volume spike so much when I went to go edit 😬😬
Love the reaction girl. Now I will say this, yes, the Annabelle doll is real and it's not the same as this doll in the film, the real doll is a Raggedy-Ann doll and it's in the Warren's Museum. RIP ED AND LORRAINE WARREN.. Yall helped alot of people until it was time for the Good Lord to take yall home.
The eldest daughter, Andrea, has written a book about the case: "House of Darkness, House of Light." It is broken up into three volumes for Kindle; I don't know about the physical version.
I'm glad you mentioned you plan to react to Hereditary soon. It's one i haven't seen yet, but want to. Now i can make sure i have seen it before your reaction. Hopefully my sisters have it on DVD so i can borrow it, if not i'll just buy it on Amazon movies.
I think I have to at this point! I’ve always heard that the rest of the franchise is a mixed bag so I’m relieved to hear that the second one is just as good!
Yet another wonderful reaction from you Catherine HAPPY HALLOWEEN 👍 hope you will have lots of Candy.😃😁 (Honestly i cannot wait to see your reaction to the Film: 1982 John Carpenter's The THING) Take Care 😉
I know I said this in your horror ranking video, but i strongly recommend you watch The Conjuring 2 in your next horror binge, it has plenty of scares. Also The Omen from 1976, don't take this the wrong way, but that might freak you out a bit too😋. I'm hardened to The Omen, i've loved it since I was 7, and it didn't scare me then, but i've seen a lot of reactors creeped out by it.
Its so funny , I mean going through so much trouble of house exocism, mom exocism and in the end the only think worked was ed's "Bathsheeba I condemn you to hell".
From someone who's seen some of these things, it's refreshing to know that SOMEONE in Real Life hasn't! It's both perplexing and comforting knowing that others haven't..
Yeah, but the current owner is a lady with clear mental health issues, unfortunately. A bunch of people recently resigned from working there, and some paranormal investigators have been getting really mean unfounded and off the wall crazy accusations from her.
Ahaha I don’t know if I’d survive being in a horror film 👀 as I’ve been watching these I’ve been questioning “how are these actors okay after this?!?!” 😂😂
As far as what happened in THE CONJURING, the Perron family that lived in that house said what really happened was even scarier, and the haunting did not end once the Warrens left, in fact they moved, and it did indeed follow them. THE CONJURING 2 is actually scarier, and probably even better then 1.
It's always is scarier. The only way to get rid of demons, evil spirits, demonic spirits or whatever people call them is with Jesus help. These beings fear Him.
This is my favorite scary movie. I like the movies that play on your mind as opposed to being gory. I know Lorraine Warren was interviewed about the movie and she said that it is about 80-85% accurate, so there is some Hollywood drama in it. As far as light hearted movies go, November is when I switch to Christmas movies, so I watch Elf or Christmas Vacation for a good laugh.
I've had worked with Nancy Perron she always spoke openly about her childhood, sisters and the Warren's. one thing she wants people to know is that Hollywood waterd down the film from the actual facts to make it into the theaters, great reaction
If you’re ever going to move, whatever place you’re looking at, make sure, if you have a dog or cat, that you take one of them to this place and see how they react. They will know, before you know. If they don’t like it, neither should u.
for me since October 30th is my bday 🎂 n the 31st Halloween 🎃 is the day my grandmother passed away after my bday 🎂 I remember her , love ❤️ her n miss her I was only 15 years old but Halloween 🎃 is my favorite month in the whole year
If you open up a doorway for them to come into your life. They can make it so that you're the only one that can hear, see and experience them. Or if they can sense you're the weakest and you come into their domain. You become their target.
this may take you all by surprise and believe in it if you want, but what i’ve seen… made me a believer. the movie that you’re observing while you read this comment… DID actually happen… the demonic nature in the REAL conjuring house AND in the movie, is based off of a REAL person named bathsheba sherman. during her time, the salem witch trials were SERIOUS. she took 2 of her children’s lives and after she killed the last baby with a bobby pin, she crawled up the long tree in the backyard… she proclaimed her love for satan… and after that she jumped… after the so called tragic death of sherman, they had to MOVE HER GRAVESTONE out to a different land because of how vandalized the stone was becoming… there ARE INFACT clairvoyant people in this world who don’t tell their stories because of people who call them out for lying… my house is occupied by a family we believe died in a fire. if you need more information about the paranormal or demonology… please… i’m like a younger cuter version of dean winchester😂😂🙏
This movie was very effective! Believe it or not the scariest part of the film for me was the portraits of the family and The Warrens at the end credits. I foolishly deep dived into the back story and I deeply regret that to this day.
Happy Halloween Cat, thank you for suffering for our entertainment this past few weeks. Treat yourself to a nice cheesy Rom-Com to help get over the trauma!
This is a great movie and super scary, but the real-life Warrens were basically con artists and little-to-nothing that happened in this movie is actually true. So rest easy, this is basically fiction depicting real people. But still a scary-as-hell film!
Yeah I’m very curious to read some of their findings and research more about them 👀 I liked their portrayal in this movie and that they acknowledged how steadfast they were in this line of work, but I’m certainly curious to see where the line between reality and fiction is drawn
I know some people who love the movie but refuse to look at the screen when the demon is on top the dresser is shown 😂 glad it didn't do that same damage to you lol
I think when i was a kid i also could not see that scene. It was seriously traumatizing as a kid. I think it took till i was legit 18 to be able to somewhat process it😂
Wait, you said you're kinda burned out with the scary movies, but you're watching the Conjuring...oh jeez. I have studied the real Conjuring house, family and events for several years now. I have interviewed Andrea Perron and been to the Arnold estate, the real name of the house. I hate to tell you Cat but the real events were several times WORSE than what is portrayed in this film. First of all, only the Warrens thought the paranormal occurrences were because of Bethsheba Sherman. Second, the Warrens were not the heroes of the story as they are shown in this. They were not invited by the Perrons but rather showed up unannounced. According to Andrea Perron they actually made the situation worse and during Caroline's exorcism she was thrown 39 feet across the room and Ed tried to prevent Roger from going to her so Roger punched Ed and they threw the Warrens out. They had several other mediums and priests try to help cleanse the house but eventually they ended up being able to coexist with the spirits that they found out were the spirits of soldiers from the King Phillip's war and the Revolutionary war. They lived there for 10 years before selling it and moving
“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.” One of the reasons demons fight so hard is b/c, when they r cast out and have to return from which they come, they r exposed to more torment and pain, for failure.
Amazing reaction Catherine! ❤ And good review as always! 😊 I have a request, could you react to watching Batman and robin 1997? (This is the transformation of Bane, always about Batman and robin, ua-cam.com/video/F0hC5sl9X9M/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared In the meantime, could take a quick vision of this, and tell me what do you think about?... And maybe you could make a video in the "shorts" category, as preview about this movie) 😊
Aw thanks so much for watching!! I actually LOVE Batman & Robin!! That movie is so nostalgic for me, I used to watch it all the time as a kid! Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze, it’s SO GOOD!
This never struck me as authentic, just TRYING to seem authentic but undercutting itself with movie tropes everyone's seen before, throwing whatever they could to the wall to see what sticks.
It can’t be authentic because none of it is real, but I agree that this movie is kinda like a haunted-house-meets -possessed-cursed-family greatest hits record, with none of songs done by the original artist. I don’t believe in anything supernatural, but I have fun suspending disbelief, and this movie is still fairly decent for that. Just not a of new material here, and Amityville is probably at least owed a royalties check, to borrow a term from the music industry.
Love you how start prepping yourself with it's not real before "Based on a True Story" puts an end to that dream. 😁 Thanks for the react and enjoy your well-deserved horror break.
